Has any of you ladies cooked a spatchcock turkey? I just did my first one and followed the recipe to the letter and when I took it out at the right time it was still bleeding.

I think maybe I didn't get it flat enough.

Any thoughts?

I have to assume domestic...doubt them carnival vendors would ever go out and hunt wild turkey.
I have been turkey hunting once....those males are so dang dumb and walk right into their death. Turkey callers ought to be outlawed.

reason i asked is that they say you cannot eat wild turkey legs as they are incredibly tough fibrous meat

i am hoping to go wild turkey hunting this spring for the first time
