No, I know it's not, but is a globe.

God showed me when I lived on Maui. I lived up the mountain, and before heading down the mountain to go to work every morning, you could look across to the neighboring island of Lanai and see the wrecked freighter on Shipwreck Beach. When you got down to the shoreline road it disappeared below the horizon. Some might try to say that was because of the height of the seas--but I know better--because my job was taking a boat out across those seas every morning.

Well perhaps, if shadows are following principles we might expect them to, and there is no trickery involved.

Well for starters, maybe because God made them to differ. Why is the earth larger than the moon? So they say.

Do you propose that because the moon is supposedly a globe, therefore the earth must also be a globe?

Because the higher elevation (on Maui) allows for the observer to see the entire wreck which is far away; but the entire wreck isn't visible at sea level. Which means, there's a curvature to the Earth.
