What is Galatians 3:7-9 Saying/Declaring to us???

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”
So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

Just as mono , i know what you all already beleive .
THERE IS TWO gates . ONE IS THE NARROW gate , JESUS CHRIST by whom the sheep
by faith IN HIM do enter .
The other gate is the broad diverse one , that leads only to destruction .
I know what you all beleive my friend .
And a lie will not be allowed on my watch .
I PREACH THE DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE ON JESUS with the same dire warning that JESUS and also the apostels
said WOULD coME UPON all WHO DENIED HIM , DID not believe the TESTIMONY that GOD , YES GOD ,
YES THE ONE TRUE GOD TESTIFIED ON THE SON .
yalls path includes the unbeleivers .
but the PATH , THE GATE , the DOOR i preach , INCLUDES ONLY THOSE WHO BELIEVED ON JESUS .
it aint me making the road to GOD broad by inclusiivity . ITS YOU ALL .

What !?

The bosom of Abraham is in a figurative sense ??

Have you not read the link in the post I gave you?

Have you read my post at all?

And then harass me ?

The bosom of Abraham of nowhere in the OT and NT.

It's made up, it slipped in during the absence of prophets for centuries, borrowed from Greek underworld mythology, Judaism contaminated. What do you want to believe, hell according Hellenistic contamination or hell as Jesus preached ?

Read my post again, the Lord in His brilliancy (context the Pharisees lovers of money) end up in their own false belief.

What song did we sing . father abraham had many sons many sons had father abraham.

I am fine if you believe the story is not a parable, many do, I am not going harass you on that.

Of course I don't disagree what you write here, but the discussion is about one of the classics, is the story of the rich man and Lazarus a parable or not. Notice what I just wrote to amigo.

Again, spoken to the Jews.
Isn't there something about all Israel being saved at some point?

Romans 11:25-27 NIV
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters,
so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part
until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,
26 and in this way[a] all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is[b] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.
”[c]

John 1:29 NIV
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,
“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
And who is Israel? Answer carefully.

That scripture seems very specific to ethnic Israel. IMHO

“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is[b] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”[c]

--- COMPARE ---

Isaiah 59:20-21 NIV
“The Redeemer will come to Zion,
to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,”
declares the Lord.
21 “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord.
“My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words
that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips,
on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—
from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.

Isaiah 27:9 NIV
By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:
When he makes all the altar stones
to be like limestone crushed to pieces,
no Asherah poles[a] or incense altars
will be left standing.

Jeremiah 31:33-34 NIV
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
Do you not know those references concerning many who claim they are Jews, but are not? What church do they belong to?

For our God is a consuming fire. ”
Hebrews 12:29 KJV
Is not God also eternal? What is eternal by nature other than God Himself? Certainly not mortal man. Not even angels. But surely that which is touched by that fire is consumed, yet the fire itself remains. There is however the following...

“The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? ”
Isaiah 33:14 KJV
Unfeigned Bible
Who survives being in the presence of God? Who survives being in the presence of everlasting eternal flame? Who survives “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire"...

Who can stand in the midst of those everlasting burnings?..

“....them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. ”
Revelation 15:2 KJV

Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? The next verse tells us.

“He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; ”
Isaiah 33:15 KJV
What is destroyed by the presence of God, the devouring consuming fire, is sin. God does not plan to immortalize sin and those who cleave to it. They are consumed by the presence of God Himself, and those that survive are those covered by the blood of the Lamb. Sin, evil, wickedness, rebellion cannot, will not, survive when God Himself comes down from heaven in the holy City and Satan convinces all the resurrected wicked to attack the camp of the saints in order to take over the throne of God. They are destroyed. Completely and utterly obliterated from existence and the earth is then restored and recreated to its former Edenic glory and beauty without any "hell" or pain or sin or sinner or suffering or agony or crying to mar its perfection.

“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. ”
Matthew 10:28 KJV
The wages of sin is death. The second death in revelation is for the wicked only: that death is destruction.

“7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; ”

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 KJV
Amen. The only thing that can survive His consuming fire is that which has been clothed/hid in, created, and forged of the same heavenly substance. That is our new man....which has been begotten of Him, His Spirit. As we are being proven/purified/refined/forged like silver or gold in the fiery trials of this life, God chastising who are His sons that we may partake of His holiness. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken (everything that is temporal) until only what cannot be shaken remains.

I used to think that there is a kind of trial, so to speak, after death before the rendering of the final verdict/judgment.....but actually it came to me that everyone is on trial being tested and tried in this life now and what will happen afterward is not the trial but simply the giving of the verdict/judgment, along with the Judge's explanation - an accounting of the person's life. "It is appointed unto man but once to die and then the judgment/verdict". This life is the trial, and afterward is simply the verdict/judgment. In other words there will be no time or opportunity to make a plea for mercy afterward....now in this life is the time given for anyone to obtain a lawyer/Advocate and have Him ask/intercede with the Judge for mercy and let the Lord clean up our life. All are guilty, all need mercy.....now in this life is the time given to everyone to obtain it, if they will....afterward will be too late. Afterward is the Judge returning to the courtroom to render the verdict/judgment and give his written explanation - that will not be a time for hearing and weighing the "evidence"...the evidence and proof is already being put forth and being weighed by God as we go along in this life so to speak.

1Co 4:5
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

People who are wicked scoundrels now might find mercy and salvation and turn their lives around before they die, and the opposite could happen to those who are believers now, they could fall away from the Lord and return to wallowing in the mud and mire of sin. So judgment and sentencing is not rendered in this life but afterward. We don't know who will do what in this life until it has ended, all the evidence hasn't come in while the person's life (trial) is still going on, so that is why Paul wrote we can't judge even ourselves or anyone until the time appointed.

If someone is deceived, it is not a conscious choice.
Adam and Eve had no interest in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil until they were deceived.
Conscious refers to the natural mind. Our hearts know when we do or believe wrong (disobey God's will), even if our mind doesn't yet. That is why man is without excuse. We rebel, plain and simple, on a heart/spirit level. We allow ourselves to be deceived essentially. The devil is responsible for tempting us, that's for sure, however, we are just as responsible for OUR part. It is when OUR desire has conceived it gives birth to sin and deception.

Jas 1:14-16

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

For example…why are so many deceived by the false prosperity gospel? Is it not because of the covetousness in their own hearts? Eve desired what the devil was offering, to have her own wisdom independent and apart from God (which separated her from Him), and it was she who made the choice to go after it, and so fell into deception. Maybe this is only part of it, but it seems that it is in the “choosing” that desire conceives, and deception is a kind of concurrent consequence…choosing wrong and deception go hand in hand.

Amen. And scripture refers to death as being "gathered to your fathers"....so that seems to be saying in death we will be gathered to where our fathers are....either to where our fathers of faith are, or for unbelievers, gathered to one's father the devil, where he is.

It is just a figure of speech to mean being united with Abraham...being where he is.
Good Morning and HalleluYAH

Whether or not JESUS spoke this as a parable is a mute point.

The LOUD Mountain Top Truth is this:

JESUS is confirming Torah/Genesis as the Foundation of all Truth AND Who HE is.
JESUS is reassuring His immediate audience that Salvation was given to Abraham = "the father of faith"
HE is also warning everyone that Abraham would never turn away someone in need especially "Thy neighbor"
So again, we SEE Jesus warning those who want to kill Him as not coming from the Seed of Abraham nor the Law.

Until JESUS lays down His Life on the Cross, HE is fulfilling the Law and Confirming the Gospel that was Spoken and Promised to Abraham and his seed = which is BEFORE the Law.

Thus the Loving Attribute of the Gospel is "To love your neighbor as yourself" which was first Spoken to who???

Today's Trivia, to whom did God command to love your neighbor first???

Clue= God did not use those exact words but HE did stress the importance of it otherwise murder would ensue.
