I understood the post to be asking you if you had evidence for your statement that there is an ongoing HYBRID program since the 50's. Genesis doesn't mention the 1950s.

The scriptures detail the earth stationary and flat and on a foundation. According to these scriptures the earth has a foundation….and it was set on pillars that could be shaken but the earth could not move and the sun and moon and stars moved around it….and if an object was tall enough it could be seen from the four corners of the earth because the earth was flat….and it had corners….and the sun and moon can stop traveling around the flat earth…. and heaven has windows. And stars could fall to earth....stars are suns and they are not going to fall to earth. They did not have an understanding of asteroids burning up in the atmosphere.

They?? Who is they? The Word is not man-inspired. It is GOD-inspired. He didn't make any mistakes in what HE authored.

At sunset, the sun gradually disappears below the horizon, so that halfway trough the sunset, we just see half of the sun.

Light refraction is a variable to consider. It actually is said to make the sun and moon appear larger at times. So the effect could be negating what you think you should see as it goes through more atmosphere.

At sunset, the sun gradually disappears below the horizon, so that halfway trough the sunset, we just see half of the sun.

In fact the sun is moving away from us as sunset approaches because the sun MOVES = not the earth.

The Purpose of the sun, in addition to "life giving light" is the Gospel =
a.) Each of the six days that God created begin in Darkness.
b.) Man is created on the 6th day in darkness = "So the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
c.) God came down to earth as a Man/Immanuel to His Creation that was filled with darkness of Sin = HE dies in that Darkness
c.) the sun/Son Rises on the 7th day and there is no darkness = Genesis chapters 1 & 2
