Mix?

I knew that you didn’t actually understand the Scripture I quoted anyway - - probably because you’re not an Amillennialist to begin with. So let me spell it out for you in plain terms:

During the church age from Pentecost to last Elect, God sealed His people while He kept Satan bound (Revelation 20:1–3). After every one of the Elect was secured—yes, all of them, Revelation 7:1-4, —Christ loosed Satan for a little season to be used to expose and judge the unfaithful within the visible congregation. These are the ones who end up deceived, marked by Satan, and swept into apostasy, causing the church to become desolate - Babylon the Great, Revelation 17-18.

Once the "hour" of judgment on the counterfeit church is complete, Christ returns. Simple, biblical, and not nearly as complicated as whatever alternative timeline you’re trying to assemble.
Thank you for the response.

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit in us is to Guide us in all Truth that was Spoken by the Mouth of God.

God's Word never contradicts itself.
Whenever a doctrine contradicts Scripture it is an immediate Red Flag/Alert to us to go back and check, read, pray, listen.
All followers of Christ must adhere to what God has Said on these subjects.
If we deviate even slightly it can and will take us off-course from the Truth.

#1 - Satan has NOT yet been "bound in prison and locked up with a seal over him" = Rev 20:1-3

#2 - Satan is roaming the earth as we speak "seeking whom he may devour" = 1 Peter 5:8

#3 - Christ's 2nd Coming and the Resurrection of the saints has yet to be fulfilled = Gospel , 1 & 2 Thess , 1 Cor 15 , 1 John ch1 -ch3

These Scriptures CLEAR the confusion and error of Amil, pre-trib, and the many falsehoods now sweeping over the minds of men

@Archie @WPM
And here lies the mammoth dilemma for Premil. Their impending earth is filled with corruption, sin and death.
Nope - that is 100% Amill dilemma to the MAX

Really? You build your argument on quicksand. You ignore what God's Book teaches and you literalize blatant symbolism in Rev 20 to support your position. The book of Revelation consists of a number of parallel recaps relating to the intra-Advent period. Each of these refer to different subjects, entities or aspects of God's unfolding plan during that time. That does not negate the fact that God's dealings with the beast mirrors that of Satan since Christ’s first Advent. For example, the 6th recap (Revelation 17-19) focuses in on Babylon, but also shows the destruction of all the wicked, the beast and false prophet been banished into the Lake of Fire. Satan is simply not the focus of that parallel. The focus of the last recap (Revelation 20) is God's dealing with Satan. Revelation 20 goes right back to the first resurrection (Christ). It finishes with Satan being banished to the Lake of Fire.

The fate of Satan, the beast (spirit of antichrist / mystery of iniquity) and the fallen angels (demons) are all knit together in Scripture. When Satan fell from heaven, so, did all his demons. When Satan was banished from the Garden then all evil was. They also all came under the same spiritual subjugation at the exact same time through Christ’s earthly ministry.

When Christ bound Satan’s kingdom through His life, death and resurrection then all were bound. 2 Peter 2:4, Jude v 6, Revelation 9 and Revelation 20 all prove the whole demonic realm has been restrained from stopping the free-flow of the Gospel. The bruising of the head of the beast (Revelation 13:3, 13:12 and 13:14) correlates with the bruising of the head of Satan 2,000 years ago through the earthly ministry of Christ (Genesis 3:15). They correspond with the spiritual binding imprisoning of Satan during the millennial period. These are figurative metaphors describing the impairment of the kingdom of darkness 2000 years ago.

When Satan was banished from heaven, so was the whole demonic realm (1/3 of the angels went with him).

Through his defeat, Satan fell from heaven (John 12:31 & Revelation 12:7-9) and is now present in the abyss (Revelation 9:1-11 & Revelation 20:3). The abyss is not a physical geographical place. After all, physical metal chains cannot hold spirits. It is a spiritual state of restraint for spirits now. Near the end, the beast will be released from his restraints and the “deadly wound” to his head will be “healed” (Revelation 13:3, 13:12 and 13:14). This tells us that he too was bruised like Satan’s head through the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

Just like Satan’s power and influence were curtailed through the life, death and first resurrection of Christ, so too was the beast’s. The fate of the two mirror each other. The reason is, the beast is dependent upon the power of Satan to do his evil. The beast is his envoy or enforcer. At the end Satan will be released from his restraint to empower the beast to subjugate the Church, curtail the Gospel expanse and deceive the nations again. There will be a suppression of the Gospel in the last of the last days. This will result in deep persecution. But the darkest days in history have always been the brightest days in history.

When Satan is released before the second coming for a little season then so is the beast, and Satan's minions. Satan is promised a freedom from restraint before the second coming, as is antichrist, and every demon. Scripture shows the abyss being opened near the end whereupon Satan and his demons are released from their spiritual restraint (Revelation 9:1-11 and Revelation 20:7). This parallels with the beast also rising from the abyss (Revelation 11:7 and Revelation 17:8). This corresponds with the restraint being taken off the mystery of iniquity in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 before Christ’s return.

Then comes the end! But Christ comes in majestic and eternal glory to overthrow the kingdom of darkness forever. The demonic realm is all killed when Satan is destroyed at the climactic second coming (Isaiah 26:19-27:1, 2 Thessalonians 2:8, Revelation 19:20, 20:9-10). Daniel 7:9-11, 2 Thessalonians 2:8 and Revelation 19:19-20 show this to be the same time when the beast is obliterated.

Like I said, since you are not amillennialist, you will deny that Satan has been bound since Cross. If Satan has NOT been bound, how can you translated to God's Kingdom and be saved? Didn't you read in Scripture that Christ had to bound Satan, a strong man, first in order to spoil us from his house of spiritual bondage?

Mat 12:29
(29) Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

Mar 3:27

(27) No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

Luk 11:20-21

(20) But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
(21) When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

It is a matter or receiving God's Word rather than being blind by your man-made doctrine that denies Satan have been bound.

#2 - Satan is roaming the earth as we speak "seeking whom he may devour" = 1 Peter 5:8

Of course. What you do not understand that Satan was bound "FOR" the Elect, not the world. I have covered this with you before.

#3 - Christ's 2nd Coming and the Resurrection of the saints has yet to be fulfilled = Gospel , 1 & 2 Thess , 1 Cor 15 , 1 John ch1 -ch3

Okay... and? I agree that the visible Second Coming of Christ has not come yet, so...?

Hold on there Nelly = i NEVER denied Scripture, for indeed Satan was defeated at the Cross

Satan has NOT yet been taken to the SPECIFIC prison prepared by God for him whereby he cannot move, get out or speak.

Read Revelation 9. Satan is in the abyss now. That is a place of spiritual restraint that impedes Satan as the Gospel victoriously spreads throughout the nations. 2 Peter 2:4, Jude v 6, Revelation 9 and Revelation 20 all prove the whole demonic realm is currently restrained from stopping the free-flow of the Gospel.

See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

@Archie @TribulationSigns @WPM

Here is another ROCK SOLID TRUTH that exposes the error of Amil and the video of this thread

CHRIST Says in Revelation chapter 1
When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, the Living One. I was dead, and behold, now I am alive forever and ever!
And I hold the keys of Death and of Hades.

Satan is still roaming the Earth even after JESUS took the keys away from him = Revelation 2:10-13 and chapter 12

To the angel of the church in Smyrna write:
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death.

To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:
These are the words of the One who holds the sharp, double-edged sword.
I know where you live, where
the throne of Satan sits, yet you hold fast to My name. You did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of My faithful witness Antipas, who was killed among you where Satan dwells.

And when the Dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle to fly from the presence of the serpent to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.

Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river to overtake the woman and sweep her away in the torrent.
But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth to swallow up the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth.
And the Dragon was enraged at the woman and went to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

Revelation has Actual mixed with Symbolic

Please return to the Scriptures in Post 130 and you let me know which is Actual and which is Symbolic in only those scriptures for now.

Thank You

God's Word never contradicts itself.
Whenever a doctrine contradicts Scripture it is an immediate Red Flag/Alert to us to go back and check, read, pray, listen.
All followers of Christ must adhere to what God has Said on these subjects.
If we deviate even slightly it can and will take us off-course from the Truth.

Just one little Scripture of Truth will shine LIGHT and expose a falsehood such 1 Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

1 Peter 5:8 is spoken to the Elect in Christ only as is Matthew ch24

Matthew 24
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

As you engage online with Premils, you start to notice that 1 Peter 5:8 seems to be many of their most popular quoted Scripture in the Bible outside of Revelation 20. Let us read it: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.Premils stop here. They go no further. The reason is: they are determined to elevate the power of Satan and degrade the power of Christ and His Church during this current new covenant age. They (notably) never quote the very next verse. 1 Peter 5:9 affirms, “whom resist stedfast in the faith.”

The true Church of Jesus Christ is a resistance movement. While Satan resists us, the Bible says we have power to resist him, and subjugate his purposes against us. We resist the lawlessness and evil encroachments of the devil around us. That is because since the binding of Satan, Christ has given us power over him. He is a defeated foe!

In fact, James 4:7 tells us what happens when you do resist, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

This is incredible! You resist, he must flee. When the devil plants a temptation, a doubt or a fear, you simply have to resist it, whereupon Satan must get his boots on and run. This word “flee” in the original means to escape, flee away or vanish. Now think about it. When you resist, he must disappear. The conflict today for the Church is not an earthly battle to possess an earthly territory but a spiritual battle to possess spiritual territory.

The root problem is:
  • Premil has a big devil and a small god.
  • Premil has a big devil and an impotent powerless Church.
Amils have the opposite. They have a conquering Christ who has empowered the Church to invade Satan’s territory and see him defeated everywhere the light of the Gospel is received throughout the nations.

Your defeatist theology is an awful slight on Christ and what He achieved through His sinless life, His atoning death and His glorious resurrection.

With the coming of Christ to this earth came the introduction of His spiritual kingdom. With the introduction of His spiritual kingdom came a direct challenge to the power and influence of Satan on planet earth. With the direct challenge to the power and influence of Satan on planet earth came the spiritual empowerment of the people of God to confront and overcome Satan and his demonic angels.

Wherever the Church advances, the work of Satan is bound!!!

Christ said, to the disciples in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

This is an incredible promise from God. It is a massive speak! When Christians function in the power of the Holy Spirit and exercise the heavenly authority delegated to them, they strip Satan of His power.

When they are tuned into heaven, when they are connected to heaven, all things are possible. God is big and the devil is small. The light is shining and the darkness is dispelled. Peace prevails and the power of God ensues.

Jesus said in Matthew 16:18-19: “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys (or authority) of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

God has entrusted power and authority to the Church in this age that the devil cannot in any way deal with or thwart. As Christians the highest authority existing on this earth has been delegated to us. Jesus Christ has commissioned us to enforce His will on this corrupt planet. He has filled us with His power. He has anointed us with His authority. We possess divine authority. That is why we come in His name.

Darkness cannot handle the light. When light shines, darkness must go. As the Church of Jesus Christ spreads the good news (or light of the Gospel) throughout the world the devil is exposed for who he is: he is stupid, he is a fool, he is a loser.

We have power over Satan since the cross! If you are walking in obedience, the devil has no authority over you. But you have much power over him. Think about this we have power over Satan and all his demons! He cannot do as he pleases against the people of God. There is much Scripture that says we have power over him.

Because of Christ's defeat of Satan on the cross, we have complete authority over the enemy. He cannot do what he wants with us. We are protected by God and armed with real potent spiritual power. We merely have to submit to God, resist the devil and he must flee from us.

1 John 2:14: "I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one."

By resisting Satan, standing upon the Word of God, and staying steadfast, we have enormous individual impact upon the kingdom of darkness; we curtail the expansion of its evil designs.

Many Christians imagine power and authority to be the same thing. But as we found out last week: they are not! Scripture uses two different Greek words to describe the distinction.

Luke 9:1 records: Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power [dunamis] and authority [exousia] over all devils, and to cure diseases."

· Authority = exousia
· Power = dunamis

Authority is the channel through which power operates. Authority is the legal authorization to function. Power has to do with the outworking of that authority.

According to this Satan should not have power and authority over you, but you should have power and authority over him.

1 John 5:18: “he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.”

Do you believe that? Why? You have authority over him. He has none over you.

It is not just that he cannot stop us or hurt us as we operate in the Spirit but it is that we can actually hurt him. That is the good news of New Testament age we live in.

Revelation has Actual mixed with Symbolic

Please return to the Scriptures in Post 130 and you let me know which is Actual and which is Symbolic in only those scriptures for now.

Thank You
Readers take note!

We have another Premil who avoids simple questions and cannot corroborate his own views.

I will repost what he (or no Premil) can answer. That is because, for them to answer honestly would bring their mistaken view of Rev 20 crumbling down in rubble.
  1. Do you believe Satan and his minions are physical beings?
  2. Is the dragon in Revelation 20:2 a literal physical dragon?
  3. Is the serpent in Revelation 20:2 a literal physical serpent?
  4. Do you believe Satan literally has 7 heads and 7 necks?
  5. Is the key mentioned in Revelation 20:1 a literal metal door key?
  6. Is the chain mentioned in Revelation 20:1 a literal metal chain?
  7. Is the prison mentioned in Revelation 20:7 a literal brick prison?
  8. Do you believe demons need to be detained in a literal physical prison with literal metal chains in order to be restrained?
  9. Can a prisoner in a prison have great wrath while in chains?
  10. Does imprisonment mean immobility?
  11. Does it mean a prisoner cannot do harm?
  12. Can a dog on a chain walk or roam about?
  13. Can a prisoner in a prison walk or roam about?
  14. Can a prisoner deceive others in prison?
  15. Does a prisoner have the ability to kill, steal, destroy, rape and embezzle in prison?
  16. When the Bible talk about the wicked being bound in chains do you believe these are literal physical chains?
  17. When the Bible talk about the wicked being imprisoned do you believe they are all in literal physical brick prisons?

1 Peter 5:8 seem to be Premillers favorites Scripture in the Bible. They all throw it to defend their false teaching in regards to Rev 20. Let us read it: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. They like to elevate the power of Satan and degrade the power of Christ and His Church. But they (notably) never quote the very next verse.

That isn because we have been given power over Him. He is a defeated foe.

Hold on there Nelly = i NEVER denied Scripture, for indeed Satan was defeated at the Cross

Satan has NOT yet been taken to the SPECIFIC prison prepared by God for him whereby he cannot move, get out or speak.

Sorry David, but the Bottomless Pit is not some literal underground prison where Satan lounges for 1,000 calendar years. And no—a physical key and metal chain cannot bind a spiritual being. That should be obvious.

These are symbols, and if you read Revelation with spiritual discernment instead of wooden literalism, you’d know that.

The Key represents Christ’s sovereign authority to bind and to loose. Christ alone has the right to impose restraint—and to lift it. He binds Satan precisely so the church can be built without satanic interference until every Elect is secured, after which He “removes His restraining hand” (2 Thess. 2:7).

The Chain symbolizes the divine power required to hold back a spiritual adversary. It is called a great chain because only God’s power, not physical metal, can restrain a spiritual force like Satan.

And the Bottomless Pit? That is not a “location.” It is symbolic language for a state of restriction—a place of powerlessness, a spiritual abyss of non-activity, where Satan is rendered unable to deceive the Gentiles during the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the church age. He cannot stop God from gathering His Elect. He cannot interrupt the gospel going forth to the nations.
His deception is halted—period.

This continues until the last Elect are sealed (Revelation 7:1–4).

So before insisting on literal chains and literal pits, you may want to consider all of Scripture, not just a surface reading. Revelation is filled with symbols—and this is one of the clearest examples.

They all throw it to defend their mistaken view in regards to Revelation 20.

You quote one thing and I answer, and then you move the goal posts and pretend you meant something else. Don't mess me about, or I am done with you! I do not like being deceived.

You have zero answers or rebuttals, so you resort to deception and infantile behavior.
