We are in the time before the tribulation, waiting for the Ac to arrive and rule the Earth as per Rev 13, 11. After that the Millennium begins, then only after that will satan's little season starts and it is likely very brief not years or months etc.

The phrase "a little season" (KJV), is also used about the time of "great tribulation" when Satan will reign over the earth and all nations for 42 months (or 1260 days) per Rev.13:4-8.

These souls on the 5th Seal ask how long do they have to wait for their blood to be avenged. They are told to wait "a little season" until their fellowservants that also shall be killed for their Testimony is fulfilled, which is pointing to the time of "great tribulation".

Rev 6:9-11
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
KJV

But of course... those stuck on man's false theory of a Pre-tribulational Rapture will reject the above Scripture is pointing to the coming "great tribulation" and that Witness for Jesus Christ, with some brethren being killed for it, which ultimately reveals... Christ's Church will... be here going through the "great tribulation." I wish a pre-trib rapture were true, but I know it's not because of the timing Jesus showed His coming to gather His saints will be (Matt.24:29-31; Mark 13:24-27).
