""while i know tongues is real . I KNOW IT cannot BE TAUGHT by man .""
Great, list ANY example of a tongue talker "today' that was (Acts 2:6-8) understood by a stranger :gd
well i only once spoke in tongues , and could even understand it .
Dont forget their is also interpretation of tongues .
However most folks today , ISEEN what they do .
Just dont accuse everyone who speaks in tongues as speaking by satan , cause you might
one day be actually blaspheming a real work OF THE SPIRIT . we do not want to blaspheme the holy ghost .
But yeah i know lots of folks were so called TAUGHT to speak in tongues
And Heck some of them were even walking aro und barking like dogs in churches .
OH i seen a lot of UNBIBLICAL pra tices in many a church my friend . OH i say IN MANY a church .
Did i fail to mention IN MANY MANY MANY a church .
F riend things are not LOOKING GOOD at all in many places that even call themselves a church .
WE do have many problems .
AND NOW , in this last and late generation the FATHER Of lies and mother of harlots
has convi nced a lot of christendom
as well as THE FALSE RELIGOINS outside of it
TO come together and find common ground , To join hands in this intefaith , WHICH I KNOW IS OF ANTI CHRIST
I said OF ANTI CHRIST . cause it is OF that w hich IS of anti c hrist . there will be no peace
n safety for them ON THE DAY OF THE LORD .

That's a very narrow view of tongues. What you are referring to is #5 on the list below.

Five Uses of Tongues
1) Personal prayer language (speaking to God) See Acts 1:5, 1 Corinthians 14:2 and Acts 19:6
2) Intercessory prayer language (prayer in the Spirit) See Romans 8:26
3) Congregational message (preferably with interpretation) 1 Corinthians 14
4) Worship language (singing in tongues) See 1 Corinthians 14:15
5) Evangelistic language (language of the hearers) Like the outpouring at Pentecost. See Acts 2

Good, some basics first to your responses
1 Cor 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
Who are they praying & singing to ?

My grandfather. He was a missionary to the Navajo native Americans.

He received the gift of speaking their language.

I would not call #1, #2, or #4 "tongues."

Paul prohibits #3 where there is no interpretation.

It's Holy Spirit enabled worship.
So, the praying and singing is to God.

Those type of claims need independent verification.
I do believe that GOD may do that if there is no other way the Gospel can be taught.

I believe prophets are not just old testament, the new testament has prophets. The disciples are prophets.
