Who ARE "the prophets" in Ephesians 2:20?

Who ARE "the prophets" in Ephesians 2:20?
The definition of the prophet is to declare the word of God. And the definition of an apostle is one who is sent.
Can a born again Christian hold both offices? Most certainly!!
Matthew 28:19-20 reads:
19 Go ye therefore (sent), and teach (prophesy) all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching (declaring) them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Concering those it meant the prophets in the torah , which of course POINTED TO CHRIST
and by apostels it meant MATHIAS cause Judas got replaced and the other eleven
NOW the question is
are there still prophets and perhaps apostels . Well sure .
But now for the part that will greatly anger many .
The ones i seen who cliam to be a prophet or an apostel
MAN I AINT SEEN A TRUE ONE YET . we gots lots of false ones that have long been at work and many false ones who still are .
SO the key is
IF ANY man cometh and says HE be a prophet or an apostel , YET HIS words and actions TWIST the original ones
DONT HEED A WORD ONE outta they mouth . WHICH means DONT HEED the nar realm
Dont heed them popes either . We better start testing ALL MEN
against what THE TRUE ONES SAID . cause men love to twist things . ON that they sure do , THEY LOVE TO TWIST THINGS .

And what is the significance of the list order?
- Were there apostles other than the 12 Apostles? (capital A)
- Were there prophets other than the OT Prophets? (capital P)
- Were there prophets other than the OT Prophets in which the foundation of our faith was built?
As in, prophets that made a significant contribution to faith in Christ after the Apostles, and with the apostles. (small a)

Foundation IS……The Rock.
Head IS……………CHRIST Lord JESUS.
The Rock IS……..Supreme True Word of God.
Word of God IS…Jesus.
Jesus IS………..….The Lord, Life, Christ.
Christ IS……………The Power, Seed.
Prophet - IS “raised up and appointed/ Given”
foreknowledge regarding: Gods truths, for Temple, church, nations, world, people thereof.
Apostle - IS “called/appointed/ Given…(and “sent”)
foreknowledge regarding: Gods truths, for the Temple/ Church. ( how to, for a man to be “included / excluded” )
Because Prophets and Apostles BOTH have a shared but specific role Regarding the Temple / Church …
“A” Prophet and “an” Apostle May appear to BE sharing “their Appointed Title”.

And what IS the SPIRIT of Prophecy .
For many prophets of today no longer even know or have this or testify but rather twist and omit His words
and even make the path to GOD very large through a love that is of this world .
But what IS the SPIRIT of PROPHECY . its a real simple answer that can easily
be found in the pages of the bible .

A “prophet…today”…falls under the Same as An ancient “prophet”…
Key words… “THEY being Prepared / Filled” …with the Spirit of God…to accurately “represent” Gods own True Word.
Accusations and Criticism…abounds Against Them…
For a whole slew of irrelevant claims…(for their preaching style, gender, looks, clothing, wealth, etc.)

What is the SPIRIT of PROPHECY .
And as for many of these prophets i do see today
Thems wolves in wool . And i do agree we ought to never make false accusations
against one . But this is NO FALSE accusation
and its a dire necessity for the sakes of all these peoples .
TO GET OUT from under them wiw
and to return to bible reading for themselves .
But again i ask WHAT IS the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY .

A prophet would have never contradicted the TRUTH with a THUS SAYETH THE LORD .
AND these false men and women of belial
not only do it daily , but numerous times daily .
This church age has no idea of even HOW to test the spirits
let alone that it even should anymore .
But we sure do has us many false prophets in christendom today .

yeah but anything contrary to GOD no matter how well it encouages and comforts anyone , ITS ALL A LIE .
EDIFICATION of the church WOULD NEVER have dishonored GOD .
Something you
might really want to know and understand .
I wanna give an example of good edification verses wicked edification .
Lets talk concering believers first .
Lets say one is in the church and they are in a KNOWN sin
and beleive me there might be some sins that are hidden but some are very obvious its sin .
Edification unto destruction would be to continue to allow two beleivers to remain IN SIN
and just encouaging and hugging on them . FALSE SORRY DUNG PILE comfort . its a like
stepping on the head of a drowning child and telling all , OH ITS ENCOURAGMENT .

but try and down play that bible and plant doubts . AND i can promise you one thing , GOD BE NOT WELL PLEASED

Yes, there were apostles other than the original 12 and the Apostle Paul.
We have the original 12, and Paul, and Barnabas, Andronicus and Junia as apostles.
Any more? There is a vague reference that Paul made referring to the whole Corinthian church as apostles.
The context seems to indicate a statement where Paul is including them.
Furthermore, the five-fold ministry puts an apostle in every church.

Except, there aren't prophets in every church.
There are a lot of churches that would expel someone if they claimed to prophesy.

That's interesting. The Hebrew language of the OT deals in pictures.

The church misunderstands the nature of prophecy, thinking it is about foretelling. It's more about patterns and inspiration.
