42 months
That should be obvious...He leaves at his defeat.
42 months is not what is in Revelation 12. What is in Revelation 12 is the time, times, half time of Revelation 12:14.
Regarding Satan not being cast into the lake of fire at Jesus's return - will not be because Satan will have been possessing the Antichrist person.
Go to Ezekiel 28:12-19, which is talking about Satan and him being cast down to earth in verse 17.
In verse 18...is what is going to happen to Satan the day that Jesus returns.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:
I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick;
therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never
shalt thou
be any more.
So Satan is going to be exposed when the statue image that he will be indwelling will burst into flames and turned to ashes. And in verse 19, everyone who will have been worshiping that statue image, that breathes and speaks, will be shocked to find out that they will have been worshiping Satan the whole time.
Here is my visual I made of that day...
