The coming of Jesus in Matthew 24 is the coming of Jesus for a harvest immediately after the tribulation of those days and before the wrath of God. He sends His angels to the gather the elect from heaven and earth. Jesus remains in the clouds. Believers go where Jesus is.
The coming of Jesus in Matthew 24 is not about destruction or Armageddon. It is about a harvest prior to the wrath of God. Believers are not appointed to wrath.
The gathering God's people are from heaven and from earth to Christ in the air.
The four winds are of the earth, for confirmation the same is taught in Mark 13

The righteous are taken to heaven for the marriage supper. This is why there is a great multitude in heaven during the ONE YEAR wrath of God. At the end of Wrath Jesus returns with the armies of heaven for Armageddon.

God does not take a lot of time here, things are happening fast

Exactly. The Church is gathered from heaven and the Jews, the seed of the woman, Israel, which are the twelve tribes across the earth are gathered from the earth immediately after the great tribulation.
All return to heaven for the marriage supper and are the great multitude that are seen in Revelation 7

All believers are in heaven during the wrath of God as we are not appointed to wrath.
Malachi 4 tells us what happens on that day, the people of God inherit the earth (new earth)
And the wicked unbelieving, those who do not know God and those who do not obey the gospel are gone from the earth
They go to their appointed place of destruction.
While we as the people of God inherit all things.

You are unable to answer a simple question. I’m not interested in going down your random other verses not related to the question I asked.
My argument is that to understand vs 40-41, you need to understand its context, which is set up in vs 38-39. So, according to Jesus, who is “taken away” in vs 38-39?
You appear to disagree that Matthew 24:38-39 is contextually related to vs 38-39, without and concrete reason. Maybe explain why?
You are confusing the great tribulation which is over at the 6th seal with the Day of the Lord which happens at the end of the 7th seal.
Jesus returns after the great tribulation when people say peace and safety.
Some people believe the great tribulation never ends, but God shortens the days of the great tribulation else no flesh would be saved. And surviving believers are on the earth when He returns.
Paul says some believers died, and some remain alive on the Day of the resurrection which is the Last Day of this age-world
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [d]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord

That LAST day when Christ returns, the wicked unbelieving are killed - judged unworthy and destroyed, the people of God are raised up to be with Him forever with all living and dead transformed- resurrected to face judgment. A lot is happening, it is a seriously busy LAST Day

1 Thessalonians 4 occurs when Jesus comes in an hour that you think not. He comes for His bride the Church. The Lord Himself comes at the trump of God or voice of God. The Church is in heave before the great tribulation.
Those that are raised at the last day are raptured immediately after the great tribulation. This occurs at the 6th seal. The Lord remains in the clouds and sends His angels to gather the elect from heaven and earth. This is 1 Corinthians 15 when the Lord comes at the last trump which is blown on the Feast of Trumpets.
The great tribulation is the time of Jacobs trouble. It is the time when final 3.5 year of the 70th week of Daniel are completed. We can see this resurrection in Daniel 12 when MANY of them that sleep in the dust of the earth are raised.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Then the 7th seal is opened and the wrath of God begins.
