Was it good news for ALL people or only SOME people?

All without exception or all without distinction?

IOW the Saviour, which is Christ the Lord came with good tidings and great joy, not to the Jews only, but to ALL people, Gentile & Jews also who receive Him as their Saviour!

Luke 2:10-11 (KJV) And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

We mustn't try to build a doctrine based upon only part of the redemption story!

That's ridiculous to build a distinction to the angels message.
They certainly didn't add a caveat to the message.
But you believe that message was NOT for all people?

In my view, the redemption story is for ALL of humankind.
Why would it be for any less? What kind of plan is that?

Jesus was virgin born and Jesus rose again from the dead.

This is good news .

Notice this..

"Jesus came into the world to save Sinners".

And who is a sinner?

So, this is good news for all sinners, and that means the entirity of humanity.

Can I quote you on that? - LOL

Jesus came to save sinners.
He came to redeem sinners.

But its not automatic.
Its based on "Faith, being counted by God" as imputed rightousness, and this has to happen before you die, as otherwise you die "in your sins", unforgiven, having committed the unpardonable sin, and that has no remedy in eternity.

Jesus came to save sinners.
He came to redeem sinners.
Did Jesus mostly succeed, or mostly fail at His mission?

But its not automatic.
Its based on "Faith, being counted by God" as imputed rightousness, and this has to happen before you die, as otherwise you die "in your sins", unforgiven, having committed the unpardonable sin, and that has no remedy in eternity.
How is that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? (the unpardonable sin)

I would say that the unpardonable sin is dismissing God's revelation as lies. Just like those who said God's works which were seen were from Satan. There are ways to respond rightly to God.
