I asked Mods to close this thread because the hostility and self-righteous preaching, accusations and personal insults, slurs, etc etc have overtaken the subject.

@Lizbeth thank you for being a shining example to us of what it looks like to be someone who truly belongs to Christ.

How do you explain John seeing the souls of believers whose bodies were dead in Revelation 6:9-11 and Revelation 20:4? He didn't say he saw living souls made up of body and spirit, he said he saw the souls of those who had been martyred. That means he was talking about a part of them called the soul that he saw apart from their bodies. He couldn't have seen their bodies because they were physically/bodily dead and they have not yet been changed to put on bodily immortality.

For John to see disembodied (headless) souls (life) of those who have been physically martyred tells us John saw life (living souls) where there should not be life (living souls). When they were physically martyred their spirit returned to God with LIFE (spiritual body/ living souls). Man is not a living soul without the breath of life that comes from the spirit. There can be no living soul in heaven after physical death without the life-giving spirit that possesses eternal life through the Holy Spirit of Christ within from the moment we are born again. Because the life believers receive when we are born again is eternal life that shall NEVER die!

Ecclesiastes 12:7 (KJV) Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

1 Corinthians 15:44 (KJV) It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

John 6:63 (KJV) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 11:26 (KJV) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

John is proving the Words Christ spoke are truth! Death of our body cannot take away eternal life from all who are live (living souls) and believe in Him!

Paul spoke of the spirit, soul and body as separate parts of a person. The word "soul" has more than one meaning. It can refer to a whole person (a living soul), but also to the part of a person called the soul that is differentiated from a person's spirit and body.

Can you biblically prove what you allege here?

… and you have led the way by dodging every rebuttal of the Op that forbids your error and by renouncing anyone who challenges your Premil thesis as a "mouthpiece for Satan," "unsaved," "a troll," full of "religiosity," “the same sort of thinking the Pharisees had” and twisting Scripture.

Good post and it's true that the above is ongoing and has been since Jesus ascended into heaven - but there is still a day of judgment that awaits. That there may be an age that awaits in the first part of the ages of the ages following Christ's return - even in the new heavens and new earth - is what few understand because they do not understand the reason for it.

I'm glad we find some agreement! Christ and the prophets of Old also often speak of things that are now, since the first advent of Christ on-going as the gospel of the Kingdom of God is being proclaimed. I don't believe there is an age in between this age we are now in, symbolized a thousand years, and the everlasting age to come. I especially don't find Scripture that speaks of more time given whereby man might be saved in the new heavens and new earth.
