Antisemitism has been on the rise more than ever. NYS just voted their 1st Muslim mayor and was only a few minutes ago talking with a Christian in my area and, he reminded me of a town in I think Michigan that is run by Muslims and have Sharia Law in place??! Am I wrong to think it is not a very Christian thing to lift up Muslims and bash Jews.
Can anyone please explain to me why this is? I was talking to (texting) a Christian friend in San Diego who replied to my text that our home state just voted in a Muslim with "better than a jew"!

Electing a Muslim and Marxist as a Mayor is the natural and logical and inevitable situation that will happen under a free democracy.

Free democratic western nations have had in power secularists for decades who support and promote anti Christian ideas like abortion, SSM, greed, lust, pride and make sin a good thing.

So Islam or Marxism are just other versions of anti Christian ideas.

But I think its also the age of false narratives and fake news. So lies and sin can be made to look good. People now determine reality by words, by narrative and what people say. Rather than what they actually do.

Mamdani made big promises of free stuff and everyone likes free stuff. This was tapping into the Marxist aspect that the State should be taxing the rich and providing free eduction, health and amenities.

So really Mamdani bought votes with a lie. Either that or he knowingly promised stuff he knew he could not deliver without some radical changes which will cause a lot of problems. Such as causing the very people who he wants to tax to leave NYC. The capitalist capital of the US. If not the world.

So its pretty complex as to how this can happen in a free democratic nation. I think this is the result of a gradual erosion of western ideals and replaced with ideologies that are anti western. The idea of being all inclusive has allowed the culture to get to a point where theres anough people with these conflicting ideologies to win support.

But like I said its not that straight forward as this is also mixed with lies and within a culture that allows such false narratives to happen in the first place. Which was not a outside force but rather a force within the institutions that engineered such ideas to undermine long held beliefs and principles of the west.
