My 2 cents:
When I write a book, I'll research and compile my notes, then write a book. Next, I write to the person I'm sending it to. Why assume that Luke didn't take a few years to gather his information before Lukes gospel and Acts letters. When Luke was at Ephesus; John, Mary, and Peter were there, plus their entourage of scribes writing their every word down. Luke could ask all the questions he wanted. Luke might have taken the previous 10 yrs taking notes. done.

Fair enough. And what about all the inconsistencies I mentioned? What do they prove or disprove?
A study of the Gospels. Matthew wrote to the Kingship of Jesus. Kings have a genealogy. Mark wrote about Jesus the servant, servants don't have genealogies. Luke wrote about the man Jesus and John wrote of the deity of Jesus.
Matthew- King, Mark - servant, Luke - man, and John - deity. Now we have the representation in animals, King=Lion, servant=ox, man=man, and diety=eagle

In prophesy
Ezekiel 1:10 - As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

You see the 4 Gospel were predicted. Oh, and one more;

Revelation 4:7 - And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

I'm sure there is a point in here somewhere, but it is escaping me. Meanwhile, what about all the inconsistencies I mentioned? Care to address them?

According to the Rose book of biblical timelines, Exodus occurred in 1500 BC.

According to my study of the Bible, God lead Israel out of Egypt in the year 2669 {solar years} after the creation of Adam, which I believe translates to the year 1431 BC

According to my Rose book of timelines, starting in 1400's was the era of Judges that ended in 1000 Bc. when Saul became King.

According to my studies the first judge, Othniel, was raised up by God in the year 2738 AA, 1362 BC and Saul was made king over Israel in the year 3062 AA, 1038 BC which was a period of just 224 years that the Judges operated.

Usher's OT timeline has many errors in time stamps contained in its calculations and should not be referenced. If my memory is still good, the Rose Book of Timelines is based on Usher's Chronology of the OT.

I wish they'd make an updated version of Rose book. Their illustrations and slides are well-done, aside from the information there being significantly out-of-date now.

Ezekiel is talking about Cherubim. The gospels are not being predicted there.

Revelation is thought-to-be written after the gospels... can't predict after-the-fact.

Ezekiel is telling about a vision. Visions are not literal, they are symbolic.

From my X / Twitter “For you” feed this afternoon -

“Sixth-century copy of the Letters of St. Paul recovered”

(James F. McGrath)

From the link -

“A team of researchers has recovered 42 previously unknown pages from a medieval manuscript, revealing previously lost portions of a New Testament text. Using advanced imaging techniques, the scholars uncovered writing that had been erased centuries ago, shedding new light on how biblical works were copied, preserved, and repurposrd in the Middle Ages.

The manuscript in question, known as Codex H, is a sixth-century copy of the Letters of St. Paul. It was broken apart in the thirteenth century at the Great Lavra Monastery on Mount Athos in Greece, where its pages were re-inked and reused as binding material and flyleaves in other books. Today, the surviving fragments are scattered across libraries in Italy, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, and France, many of them having been preserved inside the binding of later manuscripts before being discovered centuries later. …”
