Happy New Year Christianity Board Family. As we step into this new season together, I pray that our hearts are always open and our hope renewed in Christ. Whatever the past year has held; joys, trials, renewal, victories, loss or tears, let us give thanks, knowing God has been faithful through it all. I pray, that he draw us deeper into him, sharpening our love and strengthen our walk, in obedience and humility. May the Lord bless you with peace, grace and faith that grows stronger each day. My word for the coming year is ‘ Awaken ‘ - so it will be interesting to see how that word becomes relevant In 2026.
Hope as the clock strikes midnight in all our different time zones that you can look back and see Gods hand upon your lives. I tend to have a rule, if I can look back on the past year and see no new lessons or changes in my life then it means I have become stagnant on a spiritual level. We should be ever learning and growing, although our bodies go in the other direction !! lol

Another year marches out of the dust and onto the trail, but the Lord of heaven has not moved an inch. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever ~Hebrews 13:8. Grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of our God shall stand for ever ~Isaiah 40:8. Men change, nations shake, calendars flip, but the counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations ~Psalm 33:11. If the trail ahead looks uncertain, it is not because God is unsure. He is steady. He is faithful. He is still King.

So tighten the saddle and walk straight. The night is far spent, the day is at hand ~Romans 13:12. Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation ~2 Corinthians 6:2. Set your feet on the narrow way, keep your eyes on Christ, and let the word of Christ dwell in you richly ~Colossians 3:16. We are nearer than when we believed ~Romans 13:11. Eternity is closer than it was yesterday, and blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it ~Luke 11:28.

Praise the Lord as He leads us on from victory to victory.

Father, as 2025 draws to a close, I thank You with a humbled and grateful heart. This year has taught me how to trust you through trials and loss, through love and breakthroughs. In moments of weakness and of quiet strength, thank you that your hand had never left me, even when the road was difficult and the answers were not always clear.

Thank You for the doors you opened and those you closed to protect and direct me onto the right paths. Great is your faithfulness. They are new every morning. I leave 2025 wiser and hopefully a more mature daughter of the King.

As I step into 2026 Father, I do so with a deeper understanding of your love, greater reverence for your mercy, and renewed awe of your amazing grace. I trust you more than I ever had before, and I place the year ahead fully in your hands, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
