Since Mystery Babylon is multi-faceted, we must rely on exegesis to put all of her pieces together. There is no single verse that describes who she really is.

Drinking Blood
Mystery Babylon is famous for drinking blood. Is the blood literal? Yes, very much so:

Revelation 18:24 - And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

This is yet again a perfect example of how interpreting a verse as literal as possible reveals a generous amount of Wisdom. Since Mystery Babylon drank the blood of all who were slain, then common sense would teach us that she drank the blood of the very first person on earth who was ever slain. Who might that be?

Genesis 4:11 - And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

Well, isn't that convenient? God made that one easy for us. Earth drank the blood of Abel, the first person to be slain upon the earth. We now have a major portion of who Mystery Babylon is. Earth is our biggest clue so far.

Right away we easily debunk the false teachers with their ridiculous claims of Mystery Babylon being the Papacy, Islam, USA, False Religions, and so on. As was mentioned in the OP, Mystery Babylon goes all the way back to the beginning.

We now have a major portion of who Mystery Babylon is. Mother Earth is our biggest clue so far.

Finding more evidence to support this is child's play:

• Whose blood will be disclosed? Earth's blood.

The Bible is using Earth as an anthropomorphism. She is a 'mother' figure. Earth and Mystery Babylon are symbolic of the mother of all life on the planet... literally.

The Bible teaches that two shall become one. According to Genesis, God made all life from HER dust and from HER ground:

Genesis 2:7 - And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

With God being the Father, the Mother was Earth. Yes, 'Mother Earth' is a Biblical concept that you were told was 'pagan' and 'evil' and forbidden to believe. Sorry you were fooled.

The word 'mother' is literal in Revelation 17:5. Again, the LITERAL interpretation is the most revealing:

Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

She is literally our biological mother (as well as all other forms of life) going all the way back to the Garden of Eden.

'Her children' are literal peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues, i.e., the entire human race. This is why *everyone* needs Salvation. Everyone needs to 'come out of her'. Don't sit there acting all smug on your high horse, looking down your nose at the Catholics, or the Church next door and say to your self that "they are the ones that need to come out of her!, oh but not precious little ol me!" "They are the ones with 'doctrines of devils', but not me!!!, not my Church!" Pfft. Such arrogance. Such hubris. Such pride. Such hypocrisy. Disgusting.

How can you tell others to 'come out of her' when you yourself don't even know what coming out of her means to begin with? Point your hypocritical finger at the person in the mirror and see the problem. Stop the antichrist hatred already. And stop attacking me for trying to wake you up.
