You can spin yourself in circles putting words into my mouth and then answering them. That is what you are doing here.
Why can’t you simply own your inference? You’ve stated that you do not “see death” because you believe you go immediately to heaven when you die. Paul, however, teaches an entirely different reality, one grounded in faith, death as a sleep, and life granted through resurrection, not instant translation at death.
Simply stated you think that the life Christ gives to us still ends in death, while I think we continue to live with Christ even though our body dies. You were asking who has faith?
The life Christ gives you is post resurrection not upon death. Are you greater than Christ? He received life upon being raised not upon death.
This is basic teaching Marks - verses you know all to well and yet for some reason you ignore them for your own teaching.
1 Corinthians 15:51–54 “We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed… the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed… this mortal must put on immortality.
Notice how Paul deals with those who are alive at Christs coming who will be changed post judgement compared to those who from a sleep be raised to judgement.
John 5:28–29 "The hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life.
Romans 8:11 “He (God) that raised up Christ from the dead
shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
The Power of the Word of God is the same Power which will not only raise you but change your nature from mortal to immortal.
I've seen from your posts to what lengths you will go to support your assertions. I'm not interested.
He must have real conviction Marks!
