Here in Los Angeles students did a walk out protesting ICE the other day.

Also today on our news they interviewed business owners planning to close in support of the protesters. One lady did hesitantly say if people can afford to close. I realize now it's the date you are speaking of.

We've had protests in Los Angeles since last June 1 when ICE first arrived. They do raids regularly.

I'm 75 and don't get out so I don't get to talk to many people.

One time I sent a Hispanic neighbor a video of President Trump where he was talking about Jesus. I thought it was a nice video...she told me she didn't even watch it. Then her hatred for Trump came out.

After that she never returned my phone calls anymore. She used to always phone me back. In the past I gave her a lovely seascape (oil painting) I had painted. Also an expensive necklace someone had given to me and a couple other nice items. But I guess her hatred of Trump overrode everything I did in friendship.

I don't think too many businesses closed. However I glanced at different live streams overnight and there were protesters marching.

Here in Los Angeles our police were put on tactical alert which means no police go home. And they did have to disperse the crowds.
