[Romans 10:9 KJV] "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
[Romans 10:10 KJV] "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.".........This passage is used as a salvation verse. Here in Romans Paul is talking about Israel's salvation. To enter their promised millennial kingdom Israel had to confess Jesus as Lord, the Son of God, and their Messiah.

Under their covenant relationship with the Lord Israel had to confess the name of the Lord.........
[1 Kings 8:33 KJV] "When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:"
[2 Chronicles 6:24 KJV] "And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;"

Jesus upheld the law and the covenant command to confess him as Lord......[Matthew 10:32 KJV] "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.".......Take note that Jesus didn't just say confess with the spirit of your mouth somehow, but they had to open their mouth and confess him before men in public.

[John 9:22 KJV] "These [words] spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue."
[John 12:42 KJV] "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess [him], lest they should be put out of the synagogue:".........If the Jews confessed Jesus openly to others they could be put out of the synagogue.

Based on these passages confession pertained only to Israel.

Enough with this blaspemy .
You teach anti christ , acting like the gentiles DO NOT have to confess HIS name .
You will suffer the upmost punishment for this , LEST YOU repent of it .
You teach denial to this people .
You encourage NO confession of JESUS CHRIST to this people . confession applies TO both the jew and the gentile .

The claim that confession “applies only to Israel” is false. Paul explicitly removes that restriction in the same passage: “There is no difference between the Jew and the Greek” ~Romans 10:12. Whatever Romans 10:9–10 teaches applies to all who are saved, not Israel alone.

Confession is not a Mosaic ritual. It is the outward expression of genuine faith in Christ. Jesus said, “Whosoever shall confess me before men” ~Matthew 10:32. No ethnic or covenant limit is given.

The Kings and Chronicles passages describe national repentance under the Law, not New Testament salvation. John 9 and John 12 show the cost of confession, not a different standard of salvation.

Scripture teaches one gospel, one faith, one Lord. Saving faith does not stay silent.

Gal 1:11-12, 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 is the saving Gospel that applies as of 1 Tim 1:16 to Gal 3:28, Col 3:11 believers
In that Gospel, where does Paul teach CONFESS BY MOUTH as a condition to be saved/justified/sealed ?

Yes, as part of the salvation process as did the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8 and was told to Saul to do in Acts 22 which is consistent with Romans 10:8-10
All we have to do is believe the gospel
We dont have to confess his name publicly Israel did

THE GOSPEL

This is where I say we will all confess his name......................
[Philippians 2:9 KJV] "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:"
[Philippians 2:10 KJV] "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;"
[Philippians 2:11 KJV] "And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

[Romans 10:12 KJV] "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."
[Romans 10:13 KJV] "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."...................God is rich in mercy and grace to all. There was no difference in Acts 10 where the Gentiles were saved just as the Jews

As far as the Kings and Chronicles I was saying they were under covenant and yes they had to confess their national sin and also confess his name. Just showing how confessing his name was inherently commanded to Israel

Based on these passages confession pertained only to Israel.

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

  • if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus

When you declare with your mouth the Lord Jesus, you are obeying the Gospel command repent.

Repent in this sense is the turning away from Satan as our lord to Jesus as our Lord.

If we are called by the Gospel to repent, to turn to God, then by default we are called to turn away from Satan as our lord.

Satan is our lord and master until we make Jesus our Lord.

The way we do this is to confess Jesus as Lord.

This is what Jesus commissioned Paul to do as an apostle, to turn the Jews and Gentiles away from Satan, by turning them to Jesus Christ as Lord.

Are these the same gospel?
Jesus and Peter preached that for eternal life Israel had to believe on his name, To believe he was the Messiah, the Son of God
Paul preached the cross
How are they the same

I dont know what you mean, 2 requirements
I'm simply reacting to your continued posts insinuating there are different requirements for Jews than Gentiles; that certain things only applied to Jews but not to Gentiles. There is one gospel message that applies to Jews and Gentiles alike, then and now. Same gospel, same requirements, exact same way to be saved.

First of all, you continue just to say there are 2 gospels. I would like you to tell me how Peter and Paul can be said to preach the same gospel after reading what they preach:

PETER'S PREACHING
Peter didn't preach the cross for salvation; Peter preached only the name of Christ.
First of all, I need to demonstrate the basis of Peter's preaching.
[John 3:16 KJV] "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.".............Jesus preached to believe on his name for eternal life. This was for Israel to believe, but Gentiles could also believe. Jesus did not preach the cross because he hadn't gone to the cross yet.
[John 3:17 KJV] "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
[John 3:18 KJV] "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."..................If they didn't believe on his NAME, they are condemned...................[John 20:31 KJV] "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."............Jesus came to save Israel from their sins (Matthew 1:21). Israel had to believe on his name, which entailed believing that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God.

[Acts 2:38 KJV] "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.".............Peter didn't preach the cross for the remission of sins, he preached water baptism in Christ's NAME................[Acts 3:16 KJV] "And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.".................Peter didn't preach the cross; he preached faith in the NAME of Christ................[Acts 4:12 KJV] "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."..........Peter preached that salvation was in Christ's NAME................[Acts 10:43 KJV] "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.".............Peter preached Christ's NAME for the remission of sins.

PAUL'S PREACHING
Paul preached the redemption of Christ's cross for salvation.
[1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV] "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."...........Paul preached the CROSS.
[Galatians 5:11 KJV] "And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.".............Paul didn't preach the circumcision of the law for salvation; he preached the cross.
[Galatians 6:14 KJV] "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."..............Paul didn't glory in keeping the law for salvation; Paul gloried in the cross. Peter never did; preach the glory of the cross Peter only spoke of the cross as an indictment against Israel.
[Ephesians 2:16 KJV] "And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:"...........Paul preached that the cross reconciled both Jew and Gentile to form one body.
[Colossians 1:20 KJV] "And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven."..........Paul preached that by the cross all could be reconciled unto God.

Now in regard to your 2 requirements

Here are some differences between Israel and the church:

The kingdom was only being offered to Israel. Israel was promised to be a kingdom of priests in the kingdom and reign with Christ for a thousand years. Gentiles could become propylites and believe the preaching of Peter and the disciples to enter the kingdom. , The kingdom wasn't being offered to the church, the body of Christ. The body inherits heaven not the kingdom.

Israel believed the gospel of the kingdom and on the name of Jesus for salvation; the church the body of Christ believed the gospel of Christ.

Israel can be found in the old testament prophets; the church the body can not.

Jew or Gentile can attend the church bodies assembly; Israel forbid Gentiles from temple worship.

Israel was given the covenants; The church the body isn't under covenants.

Israel was given the Law; the church is under grace not law

Israel was given prophecy; the church the body is given the mystery
Goodbye. You continue to make no sense.
