THE WORD .
and now a word about THE WORD .
In the beginning was THE WORD
and the Word was with GOD
and the Word ...........................WAS GOD .
I think its pre tty clear to the sheep WHO JESUS was before HE came into the world and Just WHO the Word was .............
I AM ALPHA and OMEGA and besides me THERE IS NO other god .
I AM the FIRST and the last .
TELL THEM I AM HAS SENT THEE .
Before abraham was I AM ....................and quickly they picked up s tones to cast at him .
And i JOHN turned to see the voice that spoke to me
and being turned I saw one whose appearance was as the SON of man .
And john quickly fell in fear before this one
and This one said , I AM THE FIRST and the LAST ............................
Some years earlier thomas too had fallen before the same one , AFTER HIS RESSURECTION
and had said My Lord and My GOD . And that one did NOT correct thomas for doing such a thing
FATHER , GLORIFY THY NAME .
I HAVE both GLORIFIED IT and shall GLORIFY IT AGAIN . If people would be read the very words of CHRIST
on earth T HEY HAD SEEN some thing . THAT INDEED in the beginning WAS THE WORD
and that by HIM was all created that was , and that the WORD was GOD .

notice it says and THE WORD became flesh
and dwelt amon g us .
He came unto his own but his own recieved him not
but unto all that did recieve him HE gave POWER to become the sons of GOD .
THE SAME WORD that was IN the Beginning
was WITH GOD and was GOD , became flesh . Its real simple if we would but just read
and beleive . So simple even a child could grasp it . but as usual men twist and complicate
and preach confusion unto this people .

We see in the Book of Hebrews that Jesus has not assumed full control over this world yet:
Hebrews 2:8
Thou hast put all things in subjection under His feet. for in that
He put all in subjection under Him, He left nothing that is not put
under Him. But now we see not yet all things put under Him
And, we also see that the devil is called the god of this world which
will not change until Jesus returns to start His 1000 year reign and
throws the devil and his demons in to hell.
2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who
is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Jesus speaking of the devil, says he is the prince of this world.
John 14:30
the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
And we see that the last enemy put under foot is death which has not happened as of yet.
1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

What are you getting at David? Are you assuming that Jesus was somehow not teaching Jews who were under law, as he was?
Your question is leading somewhere but I am weary of the games.....what is your point? Spit it out....
In Luke 18, Jesus is addressed by one of the rulers, and asks his question. This is a Jew addressing a fellow Jew regarding the law that he clearly knew.....but his response to the address given him as “good teacher” indicates that Jesus did not consider himself to be as “good” as his God and Father....another indicator that Jesus was not his Father’s equal....not God incarnate. Everything he taught was from his Father....not himself. (John 7:14-16)
The man was told to observe the law, which he said he had kept from his youth, but what did Jesus tell him was lacking?
Luke 18:22-25....
“Jesus said to him, “There is still one thing lacking about you: Sell all the things you have and distribute the proceeds to the poor, and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come be my follower.” 23 When he heard this, he became deeply grieved, for he was very rich.
24 Jesus looked at him and said: “How difficult it will be for those having money to make their way into the Kingdom of God! 25 It is easier, in fact, for a camel to get through the eye of a sewing needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.”
So much for the “Prosperity Gospel” eh? Slaving for riches is the opposite of slaving for God. “You cannot serve two masters”.

"Let US make mankind in "our" image, in our likeness..." ,
seems to me it was a joint effort by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
So, He was there already from the beginning. The Trinity.

Jesus did not teach the Law of Moses.
He taught the Gospel of the Kingdom of God which is the New Covenant
Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Are you going to claim Jesus lied in Luke 16:16 in showing us where the law of Moses stopped being taught and where the New Covenant started being taught?
How is it you have not given all your stuff away and aren't living homeless under a bridge somewhere?
Don't you want to be close to God? Then why are you working to make money and pay bills?

Jesus was Jewish.....he was born under law like every other Jew. How could he teach anything else to his exclusive Jewish audience? The law did not end until Christ died. He instituted the new covenant on the same “day” that he gave up his life. (The Jewish day began at sundown and ended at sundown.)
What is the gospel of the Kingdom? The Jews were taught that Messiah was coming and that his kingdom would make everything as it should be.....they just had assumptions about it that Jesus needed to clarify.
He did so to his apostles who were all Jewish. Everything Jesus taught was from the Hebrew Scriptures.
He was sent only to “the lost sheep of the house ofIsrael”...
What was John’s mission? He was sent to “prepare the way” for the coming Messiah.
He baptized repentant Jews in preparation for them to receive the teachings that Jesus would give to them.
What he taught was opposed to what the Pharisees taught.....he condemned them outright. (Matt 23)
I don’t think becoming poverty stricken is what Jesus was suggesting.....his recommendation to the rich young ruler was to give away his excess to the poor and to become his disciple.
Jesus did not advocate either poverty nor riches...(Prov 30:8-9)
Balance is what Jesus recommended, as was taught in Scripture.....”neither poverty nor riches”.
Exactly....we serve neither. We have enough to be satisfied with what we have....the necessities. (1 Tim 6:7-8)

That the words sheep feast on are TRUTH . And every Word of GOD is Truth .
But many who appear in wool and many who sit under such
have no idea that what they love sure seems to contradict truth in favor of .................a lie and lies .
And as usual always either the transalation be blamed
or you have to know a greek word , or a hermes here and an exgegis there
here a lie , there a lie , everywhere a lie
But sheep , as i afore mentioned , DONT buy a lie .
For greater is HE that in is the sheep than he that is in the world . Just a friendly reminder for us all .

And thus sheep beleive what is written and have no need or desire to heed what contrary men who twist things have to say .
