I think you are falling for the common confusion among American evangelicals - mixing Christianity with political conservatism and specific cultural traditions.

It's not confusion but diving the word of God correctly. God is a god of order, not chaos, which the Left brings everywhere. 1 Corinthians 14:33. One way to know the Left divine God's word incorrectly is the worship of Baal in demanding the sacrifice of babies! Leftists pervert God's word as did Satan, which you might know. Ecclesiastes 10:2 A wise man's heart inclines him to the right, but a fool's heart to the left.

Proverbs 22:28 tells us to not move an ancient boundary stone. Yet, the political Left are constantly trying to change the very definition of words, like marriage, man, woman, and justice ("social" justice is no kind of justice at all. The Left use a term they know the people respect but twist it to perverted ends of coerced mercy). And most obviously, the Left pretends Christian charity is not an individual command and so attempt to pervert government to be, not an agent of justice, but a charitable organization while abdicating justice, such as deport invaders to our country.
