What covenant does Satan confirm?

A covenant which will eventually place him in God's place during the Little While period after the Bottomless Pit is unlocked, for a short period of time, nominally around 24 years in duration from my understanding.

The Desolator "He" was Messiah. Grammar affirms.

We disagree with this understanding.
The Roman armies were under His command and control.

The roman armies were acting at the whim of the Little Horn in 70 AD. Other armies also came under the control of the Little Horn on the years since then.

I'm not SDA. Neither was the historic orthodox Christian Church before SDA.

I've answered all of your questions and you've answered none of mine.

Answering your loaded questions which have been framed in an attempt to put down what I have posted requires no response on my part.

Why did you replace the comma with the period?

In the Hebrew text there are no commas or periods or full stops. They have been added during the translating of the Hebrew text into the various language translations. There are no rules to speak of that dictate how the punctuation marks should be placed in the translated texts.

Where in Scripture is Messiah described as insolent?

We have two very different understanding of Daniel 9:27. It is my understanding that this verse comes into play around 3,000 years after Jesus' first advent.

Around this time, Jesus first captures the Beast and the False Prophet, i.e. the Little Horn, after what is described in Revelation 13 has taken place, and then dispatches them into the lake of fire.

A short time later, Jesus then captures Satan and also dispatches him into the lake of fire, (where he had also dispatched the beast and the False prophet.)

As such Jesus is exercising His dominion over what will happen at this time on the face of the earth.

There's no point continuing until you do.

I agree with you that there is no further point in continuing this conversation because of your false understandings.

Good day to you sir

My understanding is reflective of historical Christian Church orthodoxy.

Yours is not.

And a good day to you brother.

Here is another Bible example of what Christ's future "thousand years" Millennial reign that begins at His return will be for...

In this 1 Corinthians 5 Chapter, Apostle Paul sent a letter rebuking the Church at Corinth because of not handling a member who was having sexual intercourse with his own mother. Today, doing that is called incest. Per God's laws it applies also to step-mothers, not just one's biological mother.

1 Cor 5:1-5
5 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles,
that one should have his father's wife.

2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

The Church at Corinth should have cast that member out of the Church for his sin. They allowed it to go on, and that's why Paul rebuked them.

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
KJV

Apostle Paul thus passed sentence on that sinner. The sinner being delivered unto Satan idea does not mean they executed him, but cast him out of the Church. Which if you are cast outside Christ's Church, you are assigned with the sinners who are free to be persecuted by Satan.

But notice Paul said, "... that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."

What is that "day of the Lord Jesus"?

That "day of the Lord Jesus" is about Christ's future "thousand years" reign of Revelation 20.

Paul is saying the spirit of that sinner still might can be saved during that future "thousand years" once Lord Jesus has returned, because like Peter said, that God is longsuffering, and not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

What this proves, Biblically beyond all doubt, that the "thousand years" reign by Lord Jesus and His elect starting at His future return, will happen as written, literally. In Ezekiel 44, it is written that the Zadok (The Just) priests will be teaching the people that erred the difference between the clean and unclean, and the holy and the profane. Those Zadok priests in that future time represent Christ's elect of His Church, for Lord Jesus promised His servants who 'overcome' in Him will be made priests and kings, and reign with Him with His "rod of iron" over the nations.

It is not wise to sprout a false understanding.
I agree. So, I advise that you stop doing that.

This is how I have framed Daniel 9:24-27: -

View attachment 80577
View attachment 80578

We need to accept that: -

  • The first prophecy has a duration of 490 solar years.
  • The second prophecy happens between after the conclusion of the first prophecy and is completed by the end of the fourth prophecy.
  • The third prophecy overlaps the first prophecy but that it has different starting and finishing points to the first prophecy.
  • The fourth prophecy points to when the second prophecy was confirmed when Christ was crucified on the cross.
  • The fifth prophecy points to when the temple and Jerusalem will be levelled and the inhabitants taken and scattered throughout the whole earth. This prophecy has duration approaching two ages in duration.
  • The sixth prophecy will occur during the Little While Period after those imprisoned in the Bottomless Pit are released after their imprisonment for 1,000 years.
My prayer is that the above is useful to this thread and any discussion that follows.

Shalom
LOL. What a mess. It is not wise to sprout a false understanding.
