This is a good point. The promise was made to Abraham for his descendants to be the ones through whom the promised Messiah would come.....God didn’t choose them because they were a superior race or particularly righteous....as it turned out, we learned more about God through their disobedience and punishments than we did when they were obedient and blessed.
God was obliged to bring his Messiah into the world through a human woman, and setting Abraham’s descendants apart from the rest of the human race, (who were all alienated from him due to Adam’s sin) their history would, in the fact that they alone had his laws, set them apart anyway, whether they obeyed them or not. They knew what he required of them, so they had no excuses.
The laws in themselves proved that God was always true to his prophetic word, and no matter what Israel did, he kept them in existence until his purpose in connection with them was fulfilled.....Messiah came and it was prophesied that only a “remnant” of them would be saved.....and only a remnant accepted Jesus as Messiah....these were the foundations of the Christian Faith....with first options to become the “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” that was first made to natural Israel, on the condition that they were obedient.....which they seldom were. They broke the covenant that God made with them....but he never did.
Natural Israel could have supplied the full number of those who would share with the Messiah in his heavenly Kingdom. But they did not appreciate their precious heritage. They assumed that just being a descendant of father Abraham was enough. John B set them straight. (Matt 3:7-10)
Only a remnant of natural Israelites accepted the Messiah when he came....so, as a result, only a small number were included in the foretold “kingdom of priests”. (Rev 20:6)
As Jesus said to those first century Jews....”Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits.” (Matt 21:42 ESV)
The Kingdom was taken away from natural Israel and “given to a nation producing its fruits.”
What nation is that?
The political nation of Israel today are not the “Israel” of God’s choosing, as Jesus told the religious leaders of his day, in no uncertain terms....that the kingdom would be taken away from them.
A new “Israel” came into existence...one that accepted the Messiah and qualified as “sons of God” by adoption, rather than by birth. Made up of both Jewish and Gentile Christians, the apostle Paul called them...”the Israel of God”. (Gal 6:16)
We are in the last minutes of the last days, so the deception by satan will be ramped up so that confusion reigns.....those looking at natural Israel to fulfill prophesy will miss the real “Israel of God”, just as the first century Jews missed their Messiah, claiming that he was a fake and that the real one was still coming....
The real “Israel of God” are quietly doing what they were assigned...not being part of the world and its corrupt politics, (John 18:36) or part of its nationalistic bloodshed, (Isa 1:15) but diligently proclaiming the Kingdom of God to all who will listen. (Matt 28:19-20) Not expecting the conversion of the world, but just the opposite. (Matt 7:13-14)

I wish I could open your eyes to see where we are in the stream of time.....to see what the devil has spent millennia setting up to trap people in the political web that he has established in order to keep mankind under his control. This is a political position you have taken, not a religious one.
Natural Israel are against God, and in their sad and sorry history, through their disobedience, they have always let him down, using nations whose worship they despise to watch their back whilst they carry on unsanctioned bloodshed and genocide.
What did God say to ancient Israel when they went to war without his sanction?....
“When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood.” (Isa 1:15 ESV)
Do you think that God requires less of that nation today? Are they not as disobedient as they always were?
When Jesus told us to be “no part of the world” (John 18:36) it was because satan is it’s ruler, and bloodshed is his trademark. (1 John 5:19) When you side with the war mongers, it is you who is siding with the world....

Israel is still important to God. After all, he promised their restoration in Amos and then fulfilled that promise in 1948. God isn't done working on Israel or the Gentiles.
There's a difference between being anti-Christ and not accepting Christ. They fall into the latter category. Jews are not alone in that regard, there's plenty of gentiles who have rejected Christ too.
There are idiots in every country, but they don't represent the majority. Here's a Christian living in Israel who has a very different experience:

1948 is a red herring....natural Israel are no longer part of God’s plans for the earth’s future. Individuals out of that nation can freely choose to come to Christ, but not the nation that exists today only as a political entity.....it’s hands are full of blood. (Isa 1:15)
Paul tells us that God chose a new “Israel” and that these would be the centre of his future plans for the human race. The “Israel of God” is no longer natural Israel.....(Gal 6:16)
Paul tells us at Rom 2:28-29.....”For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God.”
These are chosen by God, not just born into a nation.
It’s not a matter of “hating Jews”....like God, we can love the sinner but hate the sin....
We can despise the rejection of Christ and the manner of his cruel execution, something for which the Jewish nation has never repented. But all humans can leave their former beliefs and nationalistic pride, and come to the true God through his Christ.
No one is barred from becoming a “Christian” no matter what nation they inhabit.....these “Christians” (in the video) are still of specific ethnic ancestry....for them, it is still nationalistic. (Acts 10:34-35) And they follow the traditions of the early apostate church.....celebrating days of specific “saints”.....they emulate the beliefs Catholicism....not Christianity.
Many of the Jews who accept Jesus as Messiah refuse to call themselves “Christians”....they prefer to be known as “Jews for Jesus “ or “Messianic Jews”...nationalistic pride is still evident. Genuine Christians have no “nationality” that identifies them or their church...all are citizens of one Kingdom....God’s Kingdom.

What about God's promise in Amos to restore Israel and that they will "never again be uprooted"?

In regards to the Jews, they were Saved 2000 years ago and became the first Christians !
The so called Jews of today are in regards another kettle of fish ? one may say, as the Prodical son ? or little lost brother ! or in regards to the OT, the Blueprint of the NT !
The OT became the NT as it's one in the same, only real People of God made the Grade, because they were born again !
Lost or carnal people and even religious dupes think or are under the deception that, The worthy Jews were not Saved ! They were in fact !

Christ Jesus is who makes one born again. Period ! It's a Spiritual issue !

Water baptism does not save one ! it's a membership of united, one could say, regarding the Church. in saying such I am just touching on such subject.
But all people who are Saved, Know who one truly is that are not saved ? and we understand why and we feel for them that their Soul is traped in this world. for they have not been set free of such, they are under the curse ! so we harbour no ill will of such a poor lost Soul.
A carnal or even a religious carnal Beast is not a Blessing. for such can be so lacking and in fear to let loose of this world. their ego is so powerful.
I remember saying to my Dad about Pride is not good ! He clearly did not understand That I was on about The Pride of Sin ! is a Curse !
Not to mention I pointed out to my big brother that Ego is a dirty word ? he rejected that it was. Ones Ego is a huge problem !
2 Things to understand in regards Sin, is Ego and Pride ! one needs a handle on them or you is Lost !
Just a bit brighter than most and that's what can be the makeings of such as that, more of a danger.

In its early days, communism in China smashed all idols, including Buddha statues and so on.
At least in my opinion, the old Red China was the closest place to Paradise, although they had no idea what the Bible was.
However, Western societies began to detach themselves from the Bible centuries earlier than the East, yet they have committed even more reprehensible acts than those associated with communism. Moreover, please do not compare the communism of the Soviet Union with that of China, as they are entirely different from each other.
