It seems Trump suddenly realized that he needs allies. His threats towards Europe, constant tariffs chaos, "we do not need them" rhetoric caused the situation in which Europe is no longer willing to cooperate with everything the USA comes up with.

The wave of refugees will go to Europe, not to USA. Europe will need to deal with the problems caused by the USA in the Middle East. Right now, the prices of crude oil rose 100% in Europe.
