1. Ayatollah Khamenei has publicly stated a religious ruling (fatwa) that issuing, stockpiling, or using nuclear weapons is forbidden (haram) under Islam.
- he is dead now, thanks to the US attack in the middle of negotiations, which is against the international law

2. U.S. intelligence has repeatedly assessed that, as of their latest public reports, Iran has not made a decision to build a nuclear weapon and is "not building" an active weapon program.

So, the question of Lambano is legit - why to attack now? What are the goals? The US politicians are unable to clearly state the reasons and the objectives. It almost looks like they do not know.

For us that war against Hitler lasted from 1939 until 1945. For the Americans it lasted from DECEMBER 1941 until 1945. And the Americans only showed up for the liberation of Western Europe in the summer of 1944.
The Americans watched London burning in the blitz while remaining neutral. Clydebank burning. Coventry burning. Britain burning. They watched it all on Newsreel. And remained neutral.
They watched the whole of Europe falling to Nazi Occupation. And remained neutral.
They watched Hitler massing at the Channel Ports to invade us when we stood alone. And remained neutral.
If Hitler had crossed the Channel and invaded us, subjected us to the Holocaust they would have remained, neutral.

The Americans NEVER declared war on Hitler. HE declared war on them.
The Americans NEVER declared war on Fascist Japan. Japan attacked THEM in the last days of 1941. If Japan had not, they would have remained, neutral.
Both my grandfathers volunteered for the Black Watch in 1939. One carried a metal plate in his head from a wound sustained at the horror of Dunkirk. For the rest of his life.
The other fought under Montgomery all the way from El Alamein to Monte Cassino. And suffered nightmares about it for the rest of his life.
Many reading this will have known men who served the WHOLE of the war. Long before it was won.
We can not remain silent in the face of this insult.

Why now?

Because negotiations with Iran broke down, leaving no rational or responsible alternative.

What changed that made this necessary?

Peace through strength. It is the policy of the United States that the Islamic Republic of Iran shall not obtain a nuclear weapon. To that end, we recently obliterated a nuclear site that was weeks away from creating a nuclear bomb.

After that attack, Iran learned nothing and showed every sign of continuing their plans to become a nuclear power. This is beyond foolish as the negotiations not going well was seen in the US Fleet heading toward Iran. Warning given. Warning not heeded!

Hear me well, the government of Iran had a responsibility to their people to maintain security by doing everything in their power to ensure negotiations with the US end well. They utterly failed. FAFO. They found out.

What are our objectives?

Like Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan, the objective is the complete elimination of Islamic rule in Iran, I.e., unconditional surrender. Let me know if you have any other questions about this blessed event.
