In a previous topic I asked the question: Can a believer be a part of the Body of Christ without being water baptized?
yes water baptizing does not save .the very moment we got saved we are placed into the body of Christ By one spirit-----> 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink [a]into one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:13 note By one spirit baptized does not always mean water baptizing,,, . its a spiritual birth born of the spirit.. trying to add water baptism to be saved is works something we must do...... by Grace unmerited favor of God are we saved justified by grace by faith and by the Blood . water baptism follows after saved.. you have go past the book of acts.. your trying to make scripture say something thats not there

You become a member of Christ's Body when you are born again "in Christ'.

If this does not happen to you while you are alive, it will never happen to you at all., and in that case, you "died in your sin", as this one.
amen amen truth

Discussion questions:
- At what point does a believer become part of the Body of Christ?
- Does it come automatically when one believes?
- What is the relationship between church membership and the Body of Christ?
- Can a believer that has left the church be a member of the Body of Christ?
- Can an uninvolved church attender be a member of the Body of Christ?
1. answered that

2 YES

3.. in reality None you dont have to be a member of a local assembly ..that is a personal preference

4 yes church membership has nothing to do with salvation. ( we do need to go ) however when a person has to enter a nursing center and can not go ..your still saved kept by the power of God .

5 yes not sure what you mean by --uninvolved

once again your trying to make scripture say something that aint there... i have no problem if a person wants to join the 1st baptist or the AOG methodist etc this is a personal preferences. WHEN WE STAND BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF Christ.HE WILL NOT ASK IF WE WAS A MEMBER OF A DENOMINATIONAL church your way off base

What does it mean to be a member of the Body of Christ?
What is our relationship with other members?

1. a member is a person who has been born again. what does it mean we have jesus as a savoir he abides in us and we abide in him. we are a new creation in Christ .. we are given the the Holy spirit the moment we are saved. we must grow in grace and knowledge.. we must learn to discern the Holy spirit aka led of the spirit.

2.relation ship were family brothers and sisters in Christ. Christ in us the hope of Glory

why are you asking these silly questions ?

Doesn't the scripture indicate that believers were added to the body when they were baptized into the church?

No, "scripture does not indicate that getting your body wet with the city water supply, ither in your shower or tub or local Baptismal pool adds you to the body of Christ".

However, very old Mary-CULT Theology, teaches the FALSE GOSPEL that you are "born again = by Water".
And of course that's a lie, as you are only born again by the Holy Spirit.

Where does this garbage Theology come from......originally?
It comes from a misunderstanding of Peter, regarding what he stated in Acts 2.

See, Peter didnt know very much about very much, in Acts 2. But what He did know was John the Baptist's Water Baptism, for Jews.
So, Peter stated "repent and be water baptized". in Acts 2, .....exactly as John the Baptist taught this same to unsaved Jews......and that is all that Peter knew at that TIME, which of course has nothing to do with How God Spiritually BIRTH'S a person into the KOG.

So,......Its the Mary-Cult that is culpable for this long standing false theology regarding water baptism.... as its the MARY CULT that is built on their false theology whereby they claim that Peter is a Pope....#1...... So, this is why they take his "repent and get wet" verse from Acts 2.. that John The Baptist was teaching unsaved JEWS........and they adopted it and for over a thousand years falsely teach this as "born again... BY water"..........which is a false Gospel, that is cursed.

= Galatians 1:8.

Just curious Ezra, is there any rhyme or reason as to when/why you 'capitalized or lowercased' the word Gr pneuma/spirit above?

3x it is lower case and 2x it is upper case. I do like all you said, but personally would have loved to see it lower cased 5 times. Also, the bottom verse quote???? What translation would that be?

What happened in Ephesus? Did the Apostle Paul know what he was doing?

Acts 19:1-6 NIV
While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior
and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples
2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when[a] you believed?”
They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”
“John’s baptism,” they replied.
4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance.
He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them,
and they spoke in tongues[b] and prophesied.

wonderful .. your question was more of a insult to try to make you look big and better than me
The "body of Christ" is taught by Paul.
Believers today join the instant they place their trust in the Gospel taught by Paul
GOSPEL >> 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13, Gal 1:11-12, 1 Tim 1:16

True then and now.
But you didnt like How i did it?
False then and now. I was sincerely curious as to WHY you capitalized the way you did. YOU never answered my question.
I asked what translation you copy/pasted the 1 Cor 12:13 verse from. I asked because I loved how it was written. YOU never answered my question.
it reminds of the show forged in fire.. the compliment the work but point out all the errors .. so your post speaks for it self
And your avatar also "SPEAKS" ......with words written but not heard. It writes concerning the truth about a downfall in the church of today....and here. :praying: It points clearly as to 'who is the offended one here?

“One of the greatest downfalls of the Modern Church is we’ve replaced ‘that convicts me’ with ‘that offends me’.”

I even asked my wife to read our posts from beginning to the end. I won't tell you what she suggested I do. Maybe you should let your wife read our whole discourse from post 147 til now., before answering.

If not!; the ball is still in your court, I hope you can you shoot it well? Time will soon....and most certainly....tell.

I questioned your post because of how hard you are to read. Just as you have proven....again. You never answered one of my questions. I feel for those 'admins who booted you' as much as I feel for you. :praying: I wrote a lengthy post last time, still trying to connect, but you truly appear to simply not understand.

So I will try to make this last post as simple as I can for you. Just answer 1 of my many unanswered questions. If you are unable to do so then please don't answer at all.

MY QUESTION; What translation of the bible were you quoting in post #147? That number is in the top right hand corner of every post.
