I still haven't seen a coherent and comprehensive rationale for this war coming from this administration. Why now? What changed that made this necessary? What are our objectives?

Well, I don't think Iran is a good government at all, they like brutally killed tens of thousands of their OWN citizens. That being said....I do kinda get why some people in both parties are hesitating a lot over this. like podcasters and figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, the Hodge Twins, Megyn Kelly,etc. are voicing skepticism towards this, we can't totally just ignore that either.

And MTG especially has very angry, some of the things she says though are difficult to dismiss quickly, such as the fact that we are supposedly $40 trillion in debt and counting

Maybe it also depends on how some other officials such as Vice President JD Vance and Tulsi Gabbard view this current war. Both were very against US interventionism at least in the past
