I absolutely
despise the Iranian regime.
It persecutes its own people, its own women and children, its own ethnic/religious minority groups, spends millions on funding violent anti-Western groups yearly.
But I admit this strategy is a bit vague right now. Again, some conservative speakers are getting a bit confused and frustrated by this. Even if 5-10% of Republicans are disillusioned more and more, this could STILL impact the US midterm elections severely.
What if like, the new Iranian rulers are even WORSE, and they fail to democratize? What if Khamenei's son is even more radical and hardline and wants revenge? What if they start bombing
all their neighbors in the near future? I just don't really want to see this whole mess spiral out of control. It is already costing billions and billions of dollars, probably every day.
Some call it the fog of war or 5th Generation warfare or Information Wars.
There are a lot of Narratives (winds of doctrines) flying every which way around us.
Gossip and Propaganda and he said, she said.
Observe it but don't chase after it. Stay focused on Jesus because that it what they are trying to destroy, your Faith.
Doubt is a double edged sword. On one hand it makes you use critical thinking and trains you how to think for yourself.
On the other hand it weakens the foundation that you are rooted in.
Remember what Jesus said to Thomas?
Jhn 20:29
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed
are they that have not seen, and
yet have believed.
I remember when Iran was called the Axis of Evil.
The phrase "
axis of evil" was first used by
U.S. president George W. Bush and originally referred to
Iran,
Ba'athist Iraq, and
North Korea. It was used in Bush's
State of the Union address on January 29, 2002, less than five months after the
September 11 attacks and more than a year before the
2003 invasion of Iraq, and often repeated throughout
his presidency. He used it to describe foreign governments that, during his administration, allegedly
sponsored terrorism and sought
weapons of mass destruction.
Axis: a point or continuum on which something centers
We spent Billions of dollars promoting a war against Russia. I don't have a problem spending Billions to end a war with the Axis of Evil.
We don't know what the future holds but we do know that God is in charge whichever way it goes.
And I believe our prayers weigh heavy on his decision.
1Ti 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Heb 13:9
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For
it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
It's going to get crazier and scarier but Fear Not. A lot of the things we see and hear now are being used as weapons to beat us down spiritually and emotionally. But we have to stay the course.
We are in a war, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
The world is trying to hold on to it's power at the same time God is trying to free us from it.
We are in a struggle between darkness, falsehoods, deception and Lies vs what is Good and Holy and Righteous.
And the struggle is real. But we are strong.
We are getting battered from so many different directions it's confusing to say the least.
But remember what our foundation is:
Mat 7:25
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Now the world is chasing everything from Tucker Carlson to Candice Owens to Erika Kirk, Epstein Files, Voting, Politics, Crime, Security, and War, Old Alliances and New Alliances, Atrocities, you name it.
1Co 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these
is charity.
There is still Love in the world even if we have to go to war to preserve it.
No worries,
Hugs
