Heyo! You can call me Mock. I am a female living in South Africa.
I've been feeling this need to reach out and join a community of sorts because sometimes I think I'm more alone than I would like to admit. Its just my husband and myself, no family...etc. Lots of history behind that but anyways not the point of this lol. So yeah, here hoping to find some sort of community. People to chat with who have a similar viewpoint of things and such. Maybe friends? Who knows. I'm not always the most socially aware so it would be nice to have people to chat to sometimes. I enjoy hobbies that are very granny-like such as sewing, crocheting and gardening and I am a primary school teacher. I have chickens, 3 dogs and we stay in the suburbs with the ultimate goal of getting a plot one day and becoming self-sufficient.

Hehehehe I find it very funny.

I'm just joking of course. My dad lived in Pretoria and Johannesburg for 10 years before i was born in the 60s and 70s.
I think you will find that there are many warm hearted people on this forum.
