Hi,

I just got word of this- apparently president Trump has announced a national day of prayer on May 17 to re-dedicate the country to God! I think we need to take him up on this, he is planning a huge prayer meeting on the Mall in Washington DC, I might go! I am not sure what is going to happen if he does this, something big may happen, huge, maybe something will shift in the spirit world in the entire country! I am very glad we have a president that is doing this!

Another Trump political stunt.
Gullible will be led so astray, and there is blood on the hands of many for aligning themselves with the world affairs. And really, do they really believe they can move God's hand and timing to fit their own agenda?? That is really the height of arrogance!

Prayer and "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD--is "arrogance?"

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20

As the United States begins its year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of its founding, President Donald J. Trump has announced a national day of prayer on May 17, 2026, as a key part of the nationwide festivities.
The semiquincentennial commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, with major events planned throughout 2026 under the “Freedom 250” banner. President Trump has consistently emphasized faith’s foundational role in American history, building on his “America Prays” initiative launched in 2025 to encourage weekly prayer for the nation.
