Meh, it's more like wishful thinking at this point.
I understand your incredulity. I don't expect people to have any depth of discernment. They go by whatever human means they have...therefore unbelief is ALWAYS the first option. Very understandable. :)
So you are literally 100% accurate in all you teach in that inflated ego driven mind of yours?
Are you admitting that you don't believe your own doctrines?
I only speak what I know to be true. Whatever I don't know I say...I don't know.
Well you are going to have to recover yourself from being ensnared by the devil first before you can help anybody else.
That is indeed the only way to proceed. But I'm speaking by experience of having taken the log and speck out of my own eye first. What makes you think you are not deceived or at least unlearned? Take your doubts and place them back on yourself...where they actually belong. What does wisdom do?
Then you need to start explaining the different between the OT law and the law of Christ New Covenant believers are under now.
Paul speaks of more than one kind of law....hence the confusion. The law of the Spirit....the law of Christ. the law of righteousness....the law of Moses...
An unlearned person jumbles these all up, without ANY experience or knowledge...and then draws wrong conclusions. And this can make a person forfeit their soul. Should I care more than the person who is deceived and being arrogant about it? This is my challenge...when to answer and when not to.
You keep saying "the law" but fail to mention which law you are speaking of.
The opposite is true. You are not tracking the conversation. You post verses that you think are speaking of the same kind of law....proving you don't understand the narrative. If you want help with this seek out a teacher, or a podcast. My words are obviously far beyond your learning level.
A good teacher would do a better job of explaining the difference then you are doing.
I have posted and podcasted exhaustively on this. The subject of law takes more than a paragraph or two on a forum.
Are you sure you have read the Bible? Or, are you just reading books written by other preachers?
I am directly taught of the Lord AND I study the bible exhaustively...as I am guided by the Lord...every day. I read in Hebrew as the Lord directed me...and have discovered many wonders in the Torah of God. (which you seem to confuse with the law of Moses) Riches beyond compare. But I think most believers prefer to play in puddles than to venture out into deep waters. Case in point...just look at the responses here.
An example of the law of Moses...is to be physically circumcised. Another is sabbath keeping...according to men.
Loving your neighbour as yourself IS NOT the law of Moses. It is the law of God, on the righteousness level....that ALL men are subject to just like all men are subject to the law of gravity.
As to the law of the Spirit. Do men have to cancel the law of gravity in order to fly? Or is there a greater law that overcomes the law of gravity that allows men to fly? The law of the Spirit in Christ allows men to walk like Jesus without sin...just like Jesus...in His perfection. That's what the bible teaches, that's what I teach, and have experienced....but I know it's not what you have learned or experienced. Easy to discern. Hence your lack of understanding.
