And yet it IS about the Land which belongs to God Who said nobody is going to remove the descendants of Abraham from it.
God allowed it and it happened in 70 A.D. when the last of the Israelites were scattered throughout the whole earth.
Jews claim that God's promises were that they would possess prescribed land(s) as a forever covenantal promise. The Covenant Promise of 'land' always had a sun set clause within them that if they turned away from God that God would cause them to lose possession of that land.
For the Israelites to be a blessing to all of the peoples of the earth they are required to be scattered through all of the earth.
They were required to walk the earth that He, God, would show them.
God did show them how they should walk in His earth, but they chose to turn away and began indulging in Idolatrous worship.
Abraham's descendants will only receive possession of the whole earth after the GWTR Judgement.
So, as far as God is concerned, it is not about the land as you are suggesting.
