On the issue of the environment...our two Republicans running for Governor of California want to drill for oil offshore. They say it makes no sense to transport the oil thousands of miles from the Middle East which itself pollutes the environment.

They also want to lessen the many restrictions California has on different things, including building homes.

It's a common brainwash effect -Many truly believe the lies. - very hard to accept you were wrong. It causes cognitive dissonance even when proof is set before them. They tend to lash out and accuse others- OR suddenly go quiet in a river of denial.

I have a feeling we wont hear very much on RCP 8.5 from the media. Climate chg is the UN's big tool of fear. It's pushed heavily in public schools on the children. Same is true of white people bad and the LGBTQRVW thing. The UN has far to much say in our schools and our lives. They should have no say.-

The people pushing it are all invested in wind and solar energy and the scientist keep pushing it cos their getting funded for the lies.

In the 90s they said that within 10 or 20 years, global warming would cause the poles to melt and sea levels to drastically rise, taking out low lying lands and islands.
Not only did it not happen but the globe didn't warm at all.

So they started to call it climate change so now they blame everything on us, cold weather, warm weather, droughts, storms, cyclones, heavy rain, they link it all to climate change. It's all nonsense. It's just the weather and it supposed to change. A never changing static weather would be abnormal.

Meanwhile, in Australia and probably your country too, electricity prices have gone through the roof because of this climate change hoax.

And WND did an article detailing there were 4 periods in the 20th century were the media pushed either warming or cooling with the common denominator being the new age Original Sin of preferring prosperity over poverty. No matter what the weather is doing, it's man's fault!

"The science is settled," is a political claim that a politician made and is anti-science. I recall in the early 2,000's discussing with an alarmist the fact that since 1998 global temperatures were COOLING and asked what model predicted that? The answer is none. And 2 important implications emerge that are both good news.

1. The models used to predict end of life in a century are wrong.
2. The evidence doesn't support the conclusion that manmade activity, high life styles, will cause catastrophic global change.

The alarmist's commitment to the cause remained profound, dropping any pretense of scientific approach and resorting to pure scare tactics .... it could still be true and we should still change the basis of the economy. I laughed in his face saying that is politics not science. No response. In my career, I was an expert in modeling and I asked the modeling question no alarmist had the faintest clue on how to answer. How do you determine the proportion of causal agents? Fact is, the Earth is coming out of one of the lowest CO2 levels over the last 400M years. Of course CO2 levels are rising and history shows when they were the highest and Earth was the warmest during the age of dinosaurs, life was more successful on the planet.



Later I came across an article that posted the statistics of AGW predictions. 97.8% were wrong. And again, this reveals it is not science for the power in science is its predictive capability. Debunking manmade global warming become one of my hobbies and I gave presentations in different countries about it. Seems the watermelons have moved on to cultural marxism, advocating for uncontrolled mass migration.

These watermelons obviously don’t care about the environment or wild life. Everything they propose is worse - for the environment, wild life and humans. Ever see lithium mining? Batteries are the worst!

Life expectancies drop. The watermelons don’t care. They only care about replacing oil. Watermelons - green on the outside; red to the core inside.

I was born in seventy two and as a wee lad i do remember this giant cry about global cooling , talks of an ice age .
AND yes they were using this tatics IN ORDER to attain power and control over teh world .
So when things eventually started heading the other way and temps increased . THEY again
now say OH the earth is on route for fire and drought and dest ruction . AND OH YEAH its for a powerful green agenda indeed .

A runaway greenhouse scenario is very unlikely. Weather will just get more extreme as more energy is stored in the atmosphere. And this happened at least once before, for reasons we don't know. During this period, things got pretty rough for civilizations. The collapse of many Late Bronze Age civilizations in a very short period of time seems to have been caused by a number of factors including migrations of people displaced by climate disruption around 1180 BC.
