@marks, yes, we have hope for our future bodily resurrection because the Word of God says we will have it by God's great grace, but in one sense we already have Jesus' gift of resurrection in his gift of the new birth, as Paul says,
Col 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
He goes on to say that since we are united with Christ, we have died to our old life through his death, and as we have seen that he has made us new through his resurrection.
Col 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
However, our new, resurrected life must grow with our increasing obedience to God's Word, as we take off the old nature and put on the new one (the rest of the chapter):
Col 3:5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry....
Col 3:12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,
Col 3:13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
