Ironically, true, the Noahide laws command for courts to establish justice and to enforce the other 6 laws.
The Noahide laws are universal; even today, no man is above them. Christian or not, the laws are as obvious as the laws of gravity. The Noahide laws are governing and defining human nature.

Depends who you ask. Maimonides, one of the biggest authorities in Jewish law, said yes — worshipping a man as God is idolatry.

But others use the idea of shituf ("association") and say non-Jews worshipping the Creator alongside another figure isn't true idolatry, and that it's allowed for gentiles.

So it's a split question. But under the stricter Maimonidean view, yes — worship of Jesus would fall under the Noahide ban on idolatry.

Well said. As I was reading I began to wonder that after Christianity begun so quiet and humble and yet faithful till death. Then grew into an empire of the world. That we are coming full circle and back to the quiet and humble and faithfill again.

When you break it down with how the church changed and become more or less the thing that oppressed Christians. The more it moves away from its roots the more obvious it becomes that the two are not the same thing.

Society and culture especially in the west including the church has become more secular and worldly as time has gone on. The further we have moved away from the cross the more people forget or rationalise away from the cross and Christs church.

The way I see it is if there was a church like the early church that was reflecting Christ that people were attracted to while also stirring up hate that people wanted to kill them. Then this would be something radical that the world has not seen for a long time. It would be radically different to the churches today and would be seperate from the world that people went looking for it. But it would not be in the headlines.
