This is because God's judgment is on western civilization (formerly Christendom) for embracing sin and turning backs on Him and righteousness. Western civilization has become Babylon, spiritually speaking. Debauchery is mainstream and the western church is engaging in spiritual adultery as well as other sins in the camp same as the world. Why should not God judge for this?

You tell me why God should not judge us. And if He is judging what should our response as His people be? Fight Him on it? (Good luck with that.) But the solution to the problems your country is facing (and my country also) lies in repenting and turning back to God. In a Democracy, the majority rules. If the majority are Godless, what then? If the majority wants communism or socialism, what then? The path of politics will only lead you to forgo democratic and Christian principles eventually and try to force your way on the other side. Whereas the only real solution lies in turning back to God, looking to Him and focusing on spreading the gospel once again......that more Godless souls would turn to Him and become God-fearing and righteous. Where are the Christian voices calling for repentance.............all I hear nowadays are Christian voices calling for the correct political views.
