Why not just use a Bible if you are trying to prove that Christianity is Pro-Active?

Paul teaches that we are in a war, and we are soldiers of The Cross.

2 Timothy 2:3-5

King James Version

3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good SOLDIER of Jesus Christ.

Paul likens the spiritual fight against evil, in all forms, including against fake believers who teach a cursed gospel of works and water baptism........by showing us a Roman Centurian's body armour as the Spiritual Armour of a Christian.

Ephesians 6:11-18

King James Version

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
None of this justifies using weapons or killing enemies.

Jesus never told anyone to kill anyone else.
In fact, when He was being arrested, he had the oppourtunity to kill a lot of people who were coming to take Him as Prisoner.
He knocked them down by the power of His word.......and then he Healed one of them whose ear was cut off.

There is another moment in Jesus's ministry that happened earlier, where He took some cords and fashioned them into a WHIP and went inside the Jerusalem Temple and ran them out with that WHIP............but He never Killed anyone with it.

Jesus is God, and They said to "love your enemies".........so that settles it.

Now, what a real Christian should always be reading and willing to do. is..

Preach
Pray
Die

Thanks.

I didnt post it as proof you are to kill your enemies.
I posted what Paul said, and what Paul is talking about is Spiritual Warfare.

Ephesians 6:12

KJ V

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Paper tigers present a greater threat to Christians than do real tigers. All a real tiger can do is kill you.

My advice: Don’t follow Vlad and his promoters. Do follow Jesus and the apostles.

Your life in this age and in the age to come depends on it.

God will defend His people. Without a doubt
Since we're talking about "God commands righteous violence"...

Take a look at the Old Testament where God directed the Assyrians to invade Israel and later the Babylonians to invade Judah.

Is this what "God-ordained righteous violence" looks like?

Is this what you want?

Jesus committed no “righteous violence”.

Neither did Peter, James, John, Mark, Matthew, Luke, Paul, Timothy, or any other believer.

To use weapons and kill enemies violates everything Jesus ever taught.

If you understand the blessings and the curses, the exile is the curse The jews were in rebellion against God as evidenced by the King Jehoiakim burning Jeremiah's scroll, rejecting God's word. In Jeremiah 11 the Jews had broken the Covenant, therefore the Ark was destroyed. God preserved a faithful remnant, in Jeremiah 40:5,
Now while Jeremiah had not yet gone back, Nebuzaradan said, “Go back to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people. Or go wherever it seems convenient for you to go.” So the captain of the guard gave him rations and a gift and let him go. 6 Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, to Mizpah, and dwelt with him among the people who were left in the land.

God left a faithful remnant behind to take care of the land.

And while we are at it, Read Zachariah 13:8-9 -
8 And it shall come to pass in all the land,”
Says the Lord,
That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
But one-third shall be left in it:
9 I will bring the one-third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”

Just make sure you are in the one third, because two thirds will die. The one third is God's people. who God protects.

We are commanded to do justice. This is what justice looks like. I want to do God's will. I want justice. Don't you? (While @Triumph1300 laments a 19 yo killed, God informs us not only the wicked but the (innocent) children of the wicked will die).

For the LORD loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die.
Psalm 37:28

what does the Lord require of you but to do justice
Micah 6:8

Then which side was committing "God-ordained righteous violence"?

The easy answer is the winning side, but what if the answer is more complicated than that? What if the answer turns out to be both sides?

Is Christian killing Christian a blessing or a curse?

If someone attacks your family, tries to rape your daughter should you allow this evil man to have his way... Off course not

If you see someone attack an old lady to steal her purse should you turn a blind eye to this evil doer... Off course not

We must always oppose evil, no matter what shape or form it's in
