Oh my gosh. This also resolves (I think maybe?) the puzzle I worked on for 2 days, refusing to ask about it because I felt I had bothered you enough. It was where you talked about 4 eternal states I think? For the life of me I only saw three. No, wait, I think I still only see three, but it FINALLY explains at least the Ezekiel verse. Those are the righteous who offended holiness who go to outer darkness. I’m feeling right now like no one is safe…

The only time that the righteous are condemned along with the wicked is in the holy city where ONLY saints are allowed. What is holy is untouchable by the righteous. Remember Uzzah and the cart.
Someone who tries to go to the wedding feast without seeing they aren’t holy? They try to sit where they shouldn’t?

That's the point. The fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of wisdom. Eternal security is for those who say Lord Lord and are rejected. The ONLY security we have is to enter into Christ and be holy as He is...OR...remain humble and meek and forego God's wrath to come trusting only that we will end up where God wants us.

Exactly. You might be the only one here that isn't confused. ;) Those who sit in a higher place risk being cast out altogether...into outer darkness. There will be tears and ANGER. But that anger should be directed at themselves, not just the hucksters who make a living filling pews.

Oh no, trust me, I’m still confused. But maybe not as much. I had it in mind that the righteous inherit the earth but couldn’t understand how the righteous ALSO go to outer darkness. I feel stupid for not seeing it. If you are righteous but you are a complete offense to holiness your previous righteousness is no more. There’s a verse on it.
So I see the holy, the righteous, the righteous who become unrighteousness, but you said 4 eternal states. I only see three.

So you are saying that Jesus wasn't human? He was just an emanation from God? He only SEEMED to have a body? Many follow Docetism because they don't want to be responsible for their own actions.

A denial of Jesus as a mere human as well as being God is a denial of Christ. And we are to follow Christ AS HUMANS...because we are not God. How can we expect to be elevated into a divine place when we are not seeing Jesus for who He really is? And not doing at LEAST as He did humanly speaking?
Jesus was found in the form of a man..........begotten of God and without sin. Unlike us mere humans who were conceived in sin and certainly not without sin.

You mentioned those thrown in the lake but that can’t be it because it doesn’t continue. Annihilation is the opposite of still living eternally…

If God ever has that man walk in His holiness again someone is going to get in big trouble with the Lord if God doesn't ALSO forbid him to come in here again!
Yep, that’s about what your face would look like Lizbeth. Eaxactly like your reaction smiley.Just like Annais and Saphira, who tried to join in with the apostles while lying to a man who was walking in Gods Spirit at the time.

Jesus asks...why do you call me Lord and don't DO what I say?????? Doing is righteousness. The Lord is not saying we should do the impossible to be righteous...He is saying we should do as the righteous do. Be honest, love others, be humble, fear God...all the things that those who oppose me here are not doing because they think they have a special status with God to disobey Him.

Mercy is better than sacrifice. God has always been merciful. Not so the vain religionists on this thread and in the fallen church at large.

be humble,

You are not.

And you don't see it.

I am very careful lest men lie to me sister. "That man" believes that idol worshipers will be accepted by God because they really are trying to worship Him without knowing it. Do you think that's right? I wonder what would have happened to him if he tried that one on Paul?

I haven’t heard him say that. i would guess, as usual, it’s your interpretation of something he said since you often seem to hear something he doesn’t say while not hearing what he DOES say.

It’s sounds like Epi has just made you feel guilty and made your depression worse. Christ came to set us free that.

Christianity is about a relationship with Jesus, not performing for him.
The correct term is "fallen from grace". When we come to rely on our performance to ensure our right standing with God. It will lead us into ourselves, away from God, away from His power to overcome sin, leaving us in a worse state from before. Standing in God's grace is how we overcome sin in our lives.

Much love!

Scripture ?
Mk 6:11
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

The "wicked" or "filthy" is the 4th state

Rv 22:11
1 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
