There's the holy, the righteous, the filthy, and the wicked.
See Revelation 22:11, I think Shepherdsword posted it.
Also, Noah's three sons...3 surviving destinies...and 1 destiny which doesn't survive, they drowned in the flood (think lake of fire...the wicked).
The filthy hold the truth in unrighteousness. (Rom.1:18)

Hope this helps!!
I think your post finally clicked it. I seem to have issues with judgement, how God judges things. I wanted to put those who teach lies in the worst slot, receiving the worst punishment just because they seem worst to ME. So my brain tried to flip wicked and filthy to make the chart in my mind work. I still can’t see how it goes better for sodom than for the filthy but it really does say that.
This year has been a different way of seeing a lot of things for me. Still not as firm as it could be.

Thinking of what you and Laurina shared, I pictured it a scale from full light, to full darkness? Holy being 100% light, and the wicked being 100% darkness? This verse came to mind.

Matthew 6:22-23:“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!"

Ephesians 2:13-19 KJV
13) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16) And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17) And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18) For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19) Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

The people of Sodom didn't have the revelation of Jesus Christ, and had not been given the Law. The Jews to whom Jesus spoke this had both the commandments of God, the Law and the Prophets, and they had the Jesus with them. To whom much is given, much is required.

Romans 5:12-14 KJV
12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13) (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14) Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Deuteronomy 15:7-9 KJV
7) If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
8) But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
9) Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.

Shepherds word, thank you for Molinos. Chapter 2 is just more proof for me that I’ve gone the wrong way here. It’s not the wrong way for everyone, it just is for me. I too easily fell back into trying to use my logical reason since it’s all I ever knew until more recently. It works splendidly at times still and then I’m that kitten dodging traffic again like a switch suddenly flipped. Thank you.

Hebr 12:14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

Holiness, quoting from gotquestions, I can't say it better, colors are mine.

Next, what does it mean for us to be holy? When God told Israel to be holy in Leviticus 11 and 19, He was instructing them to be distinct from the other nations by giving them specific regulations to govern their lives. Israel is God’s chosen nation and God has set them apart from all other people groups. They are His special people, and consequently they were given standards that God wanted them to live by so the world would know they belonged to Him. When Peter repeats the Lord’s words in 1 Peter 1:16, he is talking specifically to believers. As believers, we need to be "set apart" from the world unto the Lord. We need to be living by God’s standards, not the world’s. God isn’t calling us to be perfect, but to be distinct from the world. First Peter 2:9 describes believers as "a holy nation." It is a fact! We are separated from the world; we need to live out that reality in our day-to-day lives, which Peter tells us how to do in 1 Peter 1:13-16.

Finally, how can we become holy? Holiness only results from a right relationship with God by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior (accepting His gift of eternal life). If we have not placed our faith in God’s Son alone to save us from our sins, then our pursuit of holiness is in vain. So, we must first make sure we are born-again believers (see John 3). If we truly are believers, then we recognize that our position in Christ automatically sets us apart from the world (1 Peter 2:9). After all, we have a relationship with the living God! Then we must daily live a set-apart life, not trying to "blend in" with the world, but instead living according to God’s Word as we study the Bible and grow in it.

Agreed ?

Christ in us, amen. But the fruit we have been given is immature in the beginning.....we need to be bringing our fruit to perfection. It needs to both increase and be ripened. We learn obedience through suffering, as Jesus went before us in that, our forerunner, setting the example and making the way. That is the price we pay. But all glory is to Him because what we were given is not of our own but is "of Him and through Him and to Him". In the parable of the talents what they started out with was not of their own, it had been given to them by their master to steward.

But here is another warning:

Mat 25:28-30

Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
How do you perfect or grow love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith?

In case you do not yet know this . Epi puts cart in front of horse my friend .
Then he takes wheels off the cart and puts the harness on his own back and puts the horse into the cart
and tries to pull it all .
He will not first preach THE DIRE NECESSITY TO HAVE TO BELIEVE ON JESUS . in fact he of ten came after me
for doing just that . Guess preaching the dire need to BELIEVE on JESUS first and foremost
gets in HIS OWN WAY , cause he can pull the cart with the horse .
Not gonna bode well for epi. He should have preached FIRST the DIRE NECCESITY to BELIEVE ON JESUS .
cause without faith in CHRIST JESUS , NO man can please GOD .
Cornelious is also a real good example to show them all HOW dire it is TO BELIEVE ON JESUS to be saved .
Cause even cornelious had VERY good works . His prayers , his alms to the poor . VERY GOOD .
YET STILL HE HAD TO HEAR the gospel o JESUS CHRIST and BELIEVE to be saved .
SO i leave us with JESUS own words to his desciples when they so marveled at what he had said .
But LORD , said amazed and startled apostels , WHO then CAN be SAVED .
And JESUS said , with MAN this is .....................IMPOSSIBLE , but NOT WITH GOD .
And HERE is how GOD chose to save the world .
FOR IT pleased the Father that by preaching to save those who ..........................BELIEVE . EPI wont
and dont like that reminder to be said . HE calls it RELIGIOUS mumbo jumbo .
NOT gonna bode well for EPI at all , LEST he repent and st art preaching CHRIST and HIM crucified .
Rather than epi crucified . HOPE that makes you see things a bit clearer about that man .
I know “ego”isn’t a biblical term. The Bible calls it the flesh. I’ve listened to Kabbalah and New Age people and they use the word ego a lot.
