Pauline Hanson's independent party is still small and she has to grow it in order to have a chance of winning federal, state and local elections, or win seats so that her party can at least have a say on what policies and laws the government tries to implement and try sway those decisions that have to be voted on by parliament. The more seats she has the more influence she has over policies and laws

To be able to govern a country, the party attempting to win the gong to govern only needs to get one more seat than just half of the number of seats in the in the parliament and just over 50 % of the vote after the distribution of preferences.

Which means that Pauline only has to get just over 25 % of the population to vote for her party after the distribution of preferences.

But the likelihood of winning with just 25 % of the distributed vote when spread across all of the Australian seats, is very highly unlikely.

@Armour of God I hope Pauline Hanson has a good social media campaign to get her message out there often.

In the UK there is Ben Habib...he's has brilliant ideas about helping to solve the problems in the UK. But when he had his party Advance UK, I don't think he got enough exposure. So another conservative party started just as Ben Habib did a wonderful conference. The new party said the same things on immigration as Ben did...and the new party took away members from Advance UK.

So because Ben didn't want to split the conservative vote, he withdrew.

Pauline has a brilliant social media campaign. Part of it are these short cartoons that exposes the government in various ways. Their very funny and they enlighten people on things they wouldnt otherwise know. She made several series of them, even a full length movie. Here are some short episodes.

And these are Romanian and Albanian suspected criminals in London. Pickpocketing especially. This news crew gets physically attacked by one. Where are the police?

There are no police. Or they are passive to stop such behaviour. This is the new norm of social policing and defunding police. Law and order is claimed to be white mans oppression on minority groups.

Thats why we see activist groups virtually commiting harassment and making all sorts of physical threats with police standing by doing nothing. Thats why petty crime like shop lifting is rising as the message is its ok to steal if your oppressed.

The next riot is now brewing as leaders sit on their hands and do little to address this.

I think it best to just not get involved. Find some bush hideaway and grow some veggies and get a cow. Go off grid as its getting crazy out there.

But in the election, if one party has 31%, the next party has 28% and the next party has 20%. Then surely the party with the most votes wins, not accounting for party preferences

The Lower House is based on population ... the Upper House (Senate) is based on equal representation for each state ... it's supposed to balance state's rights but with the party system it never works that way..

Cooperate as in join forces or just preference each other? Because if the Liberal party wins not much will change, their left of center now I believe and basically agree on everything Labour does. They don't have the guts to oppose mass immigration, net zero policy or lgbt ideology like One Nation does

Yea it's a different system in America.
Australia's system is based on the system used in England. There are parts of it that I don't like cos it leaves the door open for corruption and dirty deals.
We have too many layers of government as well. Federal, state and local. I don't like it, it's too much

Here in Los Angeles some students were also bussed in to protest against ICE.
