Justin Martyr was writing around AD 155, and literally titled the argument:

“Christ is King of Israel, and Christians are the Israelitic race.”

He said Christ is Israel, and Christians - be they Jew, or Gentile - are the “true Israelitic race".

Irenaeus, around AD 180, says flat-out that Abraham’s seed is “the Church,” and that those of faith are Abraham’s children.

That’s quite a trick for a doctrine supposedly invented by the "medieval Church".

You’ve missed the date by roughly a thousand years.

Augustine — To be a “true Israelite”, one must follow the “true living Jesus” into the true promised inheritance.

Irenaeus — The prophets sowed concerning Christ, but “the Church reaped” and received the fruit.

So as far as historic Christianity goes, you don’t have a leg to stand on and you have a thousand-year hole where your argument is supposed to be

You are muddling up references to the spiritual seed of Abraham (the Church) with the natural seed of Abraham (the Jews).
The Bible refers to both and only confusion results when you cannot differentiate who the writer is referring to.

When you read about Israel there, it refers to God's covenant-people. God took them into covenant at Sinai. This covenant is gone, therefore this Israel is gone. You read about this Israel in the New Testament because that covenant was still operating at that time, with the priesthood, temple, feasts. So if you're a Christian and believe Jeremiah and Hebrews, you must realise that this Israel is gone forever, therefore there can be no prophecy about it. A man with jewish blood is no different than anyone else. Today, they are under no covenant of God. That's past.

Antisemitism has been on the rise more than ever. NYS just voted their 1st Muslim mayor and was only a few minutes ago talking with a Christian in my area and, he reminded me of a town in I think Michigan that is run by Muslims and have Sharia Law in place??! Am I wrong to think it is not a very Christian thing to lift up Muslims and bash Jews.
Can anyone please explain to me why this is? I was talking to (texting) a Christian friend in San Diego who replied to my text that our home state just voted in a Muslim with "better than a jew"!

The entire world will turn against and hate Israel. I have also noticed this hatred on the increase and it will only get worse.

Zechariah 12:3

"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

God is allowing this hatred of Israel for a specific reason, the apostle Paul made the prophecy that all Israel will be saved.

All nations will gather together against Israel in the end, the battle of Armageddon led by the anti-Christ, and Christ delivers them from certain extinction at His Second Coming. And so, all Israel will be saved, what's left of them.

Rom. 11:26-27

"And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins."

Israel will be delivered and come to Christ, but there is much suffering in store for them before this happens.
