Episkopos is so far from overgeneralizing anything in what he teaches that he is in a different country than the one where overgeneralizing lives!

You are correct.

Episkopos is certainly living inside His own little pipe dream religious world.
His theology is so contaminated with darklight confusion, that i suspect that sometimes he gets dizzy when regurgiating it here upon us all, (while the Mods all sit and stare)... and afterwards he has to go and lie down on the sofa, until his "dizzy spell" loosens.

And i see that you are now lost inside his calculated deception as well.

Episkopos, and one other named "GIDEON".... is/are the self defined king(s) of revelations from God that all joyfully spit on the Cross of Christ and deny God's Grace with thorough Blasphemy.
Now, you'll never understand this, because as you have proven, you are definitely "mostly confused" @MostlyConfused .

And you know....It always seems that the females on this forum fall for Epikopos religious game, first and foremost.
I recall that one like you, (stunnedbygrace) became so enamored with Epi's cock and bull religious nonsense that she ended up no longer on the forum.
So, You're not the first to take his bait, ... hook, line and sinker, totally bewitched. @MostlyConfused

Galatians 3:1 (KJV).

Once again, no idea what you’re even are trying to say or thinking you are saying. Rahab lived AFTER the law was given.
Thinking I'm saying? Why do you feel the need to write so disparaging? Is it the example you are being given by your mentor?

The law was given to Israel, not to Jericho, or Canaan.

Maybe taking some time to study Romans 4-8 could be extremely beneficial for you. In fact, I would strongly recommend that to you.

Much love!

You just muddy every drop of water in the world with your feet as you slip and slide around not even SAYING anything…
Perhaps I've been assuming you have a greater Biblical knowledge than you actually do. You could ask questions, but this is what you do. Not interested.

Much love!

When people seek to destroy the inclusive nature of God's mercy on the poor and meek...they cut off their own mercy from God.

The extreme foolishness we see here is like a man sitting on a branch who is sawing off the branch he is sitting on. I'm seeing this and calling to the person doing this suicidal thing...to stop.

I'm here to save souls...but the souls are blind and foolish.

To those who think they are special and exclusive to God...wake up!
your here to do what , save souls .
Only one way to be sav ed epi . Only you wont preach it .
Sirs what must I DO to be sa ved , oh yeah BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
you aint sa ving anyone epi . not that we can . but we are supposed to be co helpers to the TRUTH
which BY THE SPIRIT we had pointed to Beleif on JESUS as well as ALL things HE taught .

Men are told to not feel in this day and age. I'm going to sleep, or not. I'll read His Words. Good night, my brothers and sisters in Chirst out Lord.
You are literally being too kind here. You actually spoke the truth but with a force that you weren't accustomed to. Discernment is good. Rebuking pride is good. There is a time for this IF you want the truth to have dominion over the many lies being propagated in the churches of today. I hope you will measure what you posted to Mark with this...

Cursed is he that keeps back his sword from blood.

Let the timid be strong in the Lord to bring down enemy strongholds. OK so maybe I'm more of a lion and warrior...but I got that way through love of God and love of the truth. Also being empowered and inspired by God to be that way.

Blessings and peace.
You're a scary lion at times, brother. But thank you. I'll mediate on this.

@MostlyConfused wrote: How does that tie in to the book sealed until the end times, when knowledge will be increased?

in reply to me:

You claim that one can be saved without being in Christ. That is not scripture as the early church did not teach it.

A very important question regarding the difference beween Progressive theology and Traditional theology:

"Progressive Christianity—is a contemporary religious movement that reinterprets traditional doctrines through modern science, historical-critical biblical scholarship, and an emphasis on social justice, inclusivity, and continuous questioning over rigid dogma." (AI)

I did not know that 'the book sealed till end times when knowledge will be increased' was a 'proof text' for it. It shows just how much we can sqeeze out to agree with us.

Trad. theology says that the things of God and spiritual knowledge, are known supernaturally through our spirit not the mind, and eternal, which is shown by Paul who told us to 'hold fast' to his teachings:

'Apostle Paul transmitted his apostolic teachings, often referred to as sacred traditions (paradosis), through two equal channels: the spoken word of personal ministry and written letters. This dual transmission is explicitly highlighted in 2 Thessalonians 2:15, where believers are urged to stand firm and hold fast to the teachings passed on either by word of mouth or by epistle.' (AI)

(I don't use AI for understanding doctrine).

He never says that spiritual knowledge or understanding of scripture will be 'unfolding' over time and is views will need to be reconsidered.

We also have to ask when is the 'end times'.

I wonder if we should have a separate thread for this subject as it is so huge and it is becoming clearer who is on each side and should help us to understand each others views better as it is the basis for the disagreements.

If I understand correctly, you are saying that believing in Christ was not understood properly at the time scripture was written and that gate has now been overturned?

I understand the end times to be when one has been united with Christ or entirely sanctified when the seals of scripture are opened. It happened to me over three days when I learned more than the 17 years previously.

This reminds me of Teresa of Avila, who gave instructions to help people and then much further on said something like, now forget all those instructions because you have reached a place where they won’t help you but will instead hinder you and frustrate grace, a place you do not know and cannot use these crutches in, no matter how much they helped you in the past, because He will begin to take you by a way you do not know and that others cant copiously help you in or help you to progress in because only God can take you now.

She, and others, give pretty strict instructions on how you will know you have neared that place and on NOT trying to somehow work your way into it and that unless you see the signs they give that you are there you must not cease your former labors. But people, being people, always think they are further than they really are.

Good post and I agree, indeed it is necessary that we reach a place where it seems no-one can help us and we are in utter confusion. It is only when we come out of it and have revelation, that we at last do see that what happened to us followed a pattern that others went through.

And indeed we always think we are further on than we are as I experienced myself a number of times but suffering the dark night of the spirit brings us out of that nonsense. It is when we are thrown down into the dirt.

Are you certain? I ask because I wondered at first if this place of peace I found myself in was “having arrived” but soon saw and experienced that it’s a second place of instruction and practice, an “in-between” place, for lack of better wording. And the peace is a gift, but it’s still not His face. And it’s okay to rest in that peace (I think He wants you to and that’s why He granted it after your decades long struggle to trust and surrender the prisoner who is keeping you prisoner) but you can never think it is your possession or that you're in a state of sinlessness or He will painfully show you your mistake and all will be lost. The least bit of possessiveness or presumption or trying to take over takes you out of it.

I understand as it was what I experienced and the peace bit. I learned to just trrust Him and never lean on my own understanding ever again, which has been extremely necessary to avoid falling down a pit. The higher you climb the harder you fall.

That is why it is so important to find those who have already reached the hights, not just those who are repeating the teachings they have heard. One way you know is when you read their interpretation of certain scriptures that are are ones that have been revealed to you. The deeper understanding of them.

AHA! That's right...no man comes to the Father but by Jesus. But it does NOT say that no one can inherit life that doesn't know the Father. No one here knows the Father. So you all condemn yourselves. Without the mercy of God you are all lost. Yet you impugn God's mercy on the poor, the meek the fatherless, the widow...etc. So then because you have no mercy on the just you will not be shown mercy.

That's your estrogen need of drama talking here. You and the crows here need to be vigourously rebuked for insulting the Spirit of grace.

Hear, hear, putting yourself above everybody else.

BTW, what's the difference between holiness and sanctification?
I put myself under everyone else. I'm trying to pull people down off their prideful high horses so that they stop insulting the spirit of grace. And these prideful ones just get angry and hurl abuse at me for my trouble. The flesh acts very badly...as it is written. As for your very skewed judgments...you are seeing things as you are. You have no idea who I am and what God has called me to...because of the depth that God calls people at, which you don't understand, and that bothers your ego..because you are unable to see others with anything but as being in an inferior position. You think you know more than others. So that reveals you, not me.

So why are you so against humility in your self life?

And holiness and sanctification are two sides of the same coin. I don't use the word sanctification much because of the very false doctrine of there being a PROCESS whereby we can be half-holy, half-cleansed, This is an invention by men,

But holiness is about God and His presence. Holiness is about God not us. From THAT perspective sanctification is what takes place in God's presence.

Instead of acting like a religious nut with intolerance and blindness and deafness, apply yourself...look to God. Look to the bible with honesty and humility and you will see the beauty in what I teach. God is merciful...He loves the meek and righteous. But He resists the religious craziness in those who read the bible to justify themselves and condemn those whom God loves and that Jesus died for. Will people listen to the warnings? No...because there is a bad spirit on them that causes them to throw out sound doctrine, sound reasoning, honesty, mercy and actual faith. All this is done in the vain idea that people are saved for having correct beliefs....which God doesn't care about.

So how are you doing today? :)

Aahhh…okay. So sanctification is a training also…in the sense of learning to remain in holiness or remain there longer “the next time” by not offending holiness?

Thats a similar (but not the same) thing as what I’ve been experiencing about how to remain in this peace and how to not have it withdrawn...

Exactly. That's the training of a potential saint. Luke 16 and the parable of the unjust steward shows a potential saint that is NOT cut out for holiness. So he finds a place among the righteous...which God approves of.

That's part of righteousness training. God loves righteousness...and He gives His peace to those who look to Him.

Yes, that's quite something isn't it, for someone to claim they are speaking the oracles of God.

I wonder if we can look to what was done with the Temple to prepare it for God's habitation......that our lives follow the same pattern as what was done with the Temple since individually we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are being sanctified......cleansed, purged through trials and tribs, being prepared to be consecrated to the Lord, and made a habitation for Him and filled with His glory.
