here is a start

john 1: 12. but as many as have received him, to them he gave the right to become children, even to them who believe

john 3, for god so loved the world he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will never perish, but has eternal life, for the son was not sent to judge, but that the world might be saved, he who believes is not condemned, he who does not believe is condemned already

john 4: 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that i shall give him will never thirst. but the water that i shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life”

john 5: 24 “most assuredly, i say to you, he whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me who sent me has eternal life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death to life

john 6: 35 and Jesus said to them, “i am the bread of life. he who comes to me shall never hunger and he who believes in me shall never thirst

john 6: 37: and the one who comes to me i will by no means cast out 38 for i have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. 39 this is the will of the father who sent me, that of all he has given me i shall lose nothing, but should raise it up on the last day. 40 and this is the will of him who sent me, that everyone who sees and believes in him may have everlasting life and i will raise him on the last day

john 6: 47 most assuredly, i say to you, he who believes in me has everlasting life. 48 i am the bread of life. 49 your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 this is the bread which comes down from heaven, that that one may eat of it and not die 51 am the living bread which came down from heaven. if anyone eats this bread he will live forever

john 6: 63 it is the spirit who gives life ; the flesh profits nothing. the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life

John 6:
54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
In that case there was NO NEED for Christ to teach Paul since Paul could have EASILY been taught by John.
So why did Paul even need to bother writing Gal 1:11-12 ?
Why did Paul even need to bother teaching 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 ?
Gal 2:2 Why did Paul even need to bother telling John etc if John etc ALREADY knew about 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 ?

if Christ does it all for why does it say we must do it?
Belief is a loaded term. If we believe in Him, we back up our belief by doing what He says. We cooperate with His plan. He gracefully includes us. And being transformed by the Word we begin to demonstrate our faith. The Holy Spirit works through us and so the message of James, "Show me your works", is proof of your belief. If you say you believe and do not do what He says, you are a liar or deceiving yourself. Working out salvation is our cooperation with the Spirit's sanctification process _not justification. We are justified by faith, not by works.
Faith does not come by works, it is entirely a gift, authored by Christ.
The Author of our sanctification is the Holy Spirit. And we need to practice our faith because we still possess the flesh ( though we are to render it dead); it pops up its ugly head once in awhile. But our spirit is pure, washed and so at any moment, such as a sudden death, we go to be with the Lord, spotless, because at that time we are separated perminently from the flesh.

all manner of blasphemy and sin WILL BE forgiven all men.

Our little white lie is just as serious to God as commiting murder is.

in fact. if I know to do good and do not do it. to me it is sin.

the wage of sin is death

all three of those sins earned the death penalty..

God does not give us an out just because we think it is just a small sin
no there is both sin unto death (separation from God) causing spiritual death and sin not unto death

1 John 5:16
If any man see his brother sin a sinwhich is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sinunto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

1 John 5:17
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

No

Sin unto death is just that. You have died.;

If I get dunk. get behind a wheel and try to drive, and die in an auto accident, I have commited a sin unto death

Rom 6 tells us the wage of sin is death. It does not say these sins cause death and those do not. It says the wage of all sin is death.

This tells us that if sinning after being saved causes us to die again (a promise Jesus said would never happen) any sin you commit would be a sin unto death
1 John 5:16

1 John 5:17

Yep.. If I get drunk and get behind a wheel and make it home alive. I have not commited a sin which caused my death

@Eternally Grateful, why can't you answer the question posed to you in Post #778?
see post 779

and stop falsly accusing people. its why I usually do nto respond to you
Really? She posts many verses supporting her position, which you summarily ignore and only present a scant few other verses for discussion. Pathetic!

No false accusation. You aren't answering her question but diverting attention. Shameful. You've been given multiple opportunities to show the virtue of your position and the sincerity of your conviction. You blew it big time again and again.

Acts 9:1 - Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

I'm not sure why someone would find that funny. o_O

More encouragement, persevere and you'll receive the prize at the end of the race.

Try reading the context of the chapter. Talking about widows not having faith.

Those who have been born of God cannot continue practicing sin. If you see someone doing these things, they are not following Christ.

Absolutely.

True

A born again Christian will not continue on a sinful path.

The bottom line you don't seem to get is: Jesus is the AUTHOR OF OUR FAITH. Maybe you don 't really believe that?
More encouragement, persevere and you'll receive the prize at the end of the race.???

you claim to already have the prize!

I think path is an important word....Lifestyle can be used in place of path.

As born again christians we find ourselves practicing or committing sin from time to time...and should repent of those sins.
do these sins seperate us from God and His grace?

No. that is not what scripture says

titus 3: 4 but when the kindness and the love of god our savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done , but according to his mercy he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our savior, 7 that having been justified by his grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life

2 tim 1: 9
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works , but according to his own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began

eph 2: 4 but god, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together , and made us sit together in heavenly places 7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith , and that not of yourselves ; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works lest anyone should boast
not our natural works apart from Christ but supernatural works done in grace!
Jn 15:5 apart from Christ? nothing!

phil 4:13 with Christ? all things!

No.

When we find ourselves slipping into a life of sin or living in a life of sin it is us who is pulling away from Gods fellowship.
Gods grace remains despite the "back slidden" position.
As christians, if we find ourselves in that position or in a position of a moment of sin our asking for forgiveness restores our "fellowship" so-to-speak with God....as we realize and understand our sinful act or acts, repent and ask God for forgiveness. This forgiveness has nothing to do with salvation as the christ follower is already saved.
