It's funny how your position is SOOO hypocritical and contradictory. On the one hand you want people to believe in holiness....and on the other you want people to stick to the deadness of the letter. Which is it???

Under the New Covenant, scripture tells us that the Spirit will teach, immediately, objectively and continually.

"I will put my laws into their minds and write them in their hearts and I will be unto them a God and they shall be to Me a people" (Heb. 8:10-11)

We can know whether a man speaks from God by his fruit laid out in:

1 Corinthians 13
King James Version

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether the be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Sure, in Christ there is no sin.
Sure...you don't seem to treat that with any reverence.

But that does not answer my (above) question, allow me to be more specific.

1. Do you feel (felt) the presence of the Lord 24/7 in those periods / years?

Again, there are different depths to knowing God. I have been to basically all the depths in my 46 years with the Lord.

I'm going to try teaching deeper truth here at the risk of my pearls getting overcome and trampled by pig's feet in the mud...

Sow in righteousness, reap in mercy (Hos 10:12)
Sow to the Spirit, reap eternal life (Gal 6:8)

These are the two levels of knowing God.

Jesus said, I am the door...

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9

A potential saint goes IN AND OUT of the Spirit...meaning in and out through the door....finding pasture on BOTH sides of the door. When the seeker is not inside the house of God, he should wait patiently at His door. Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you.

There is pasture in God's realm and in ours. Ps 23 says...He makes me to lie down in green pastures. The pastures here are plural.

So whether present or absent from the Lord we do all to be at least accepted of Him. We are to bear fruit where we are and seek God to be where He is. We collect the dew of the morning until He rains His righteousness on us. The dew springs UP from the earth and the rain falls down from heaven.

As we collect the dew of the morning we are washed clean by the washing of the word. So we set off on our day with a peace derived from being forgiven and cleansed from our sin....from there we experience a peace with God. That is until we get involved in the world whereby our feet get dirty. We lose that peace during the day unless we are careful to stay unspotted from the world. Like a man who looks in a mirror and remembers what he looks like and who he is...in the inner man.

So on this level our peace depends on US drawing near to God. We have perfect peace as long as our hearts are stayed on our God.

But as we go through the door who is Christ, there is no need to collect the dew since it's raining righteousness. The peace with God at that level is beyond human understanding.
2. Anything else so that you knew you were sinless, did the Lord told you?

Being sinless by being in Christ is an afterthought. You see it more in retrospect....because you are too busy beholding the glory of the Lord.
3. What is (was) different than your normal walk.

I want to understand.
In my normal walk NOW, I have the peace of a seeker that collects the dew every morning. But when I first fell out of the Spirit, I let myself go. I was selfish. It was easy to be loved by God, but MUCH HARDER to show my love for God by waiting at His door in the obedience of a servant.

Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Prov 8:34

We love Him because He first loved us. But getting that love out of us is not automatic.

I was talking to a woman yesterday who called me asking for advice. She had walked in the Spirit for a few years (10 tears ago) and had left the institution because she saw what the churches have become. But she remained alone. She let herself go. So she is now wanting to get close with God again. So she is like a novice believer...but at a secondary school level.. She needs to APPLY herself in seeking God daily and collecting the dew of the morning. She needs to come back to the door and wait there for Her Master. As a servant. So she is praying about it. We can think that God's love is the same as permissiveness. But a slave of Christ is also to be a slave of righteousness. When we are not in the Lord's presence we shouldn't just become master over our own lives.

Anyway...here are a few thoughts this morning as I collect the morning dew. Righteousness springs up out of the earth...and holiness rains down from heaven

“Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it. Is 45:8

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Hos 10:12

Peace.

If it's nothing new then it's not a revelation. You live in England and you don't know English? I both know how the Spirit works AND how to interpret English...and French! (And some Hebrew)

I suggest you look up the word revelation and compare that with ....nothing new.

Question:

Has there been further revelation of doctrine since the apostolic times and writing of the holy writ? Must this further revelation be confirmed by scripture?

Most people read the bible without any understanding at all. God HIDES the truth in His word. That is because the truth has POWER and is not just in words. God is ALIVE. His words come to LIFE. People don't realize that. It takes revelation to bring the Scriptures TO LIFE. To have the deeper meanings revealed. (Like the way a zip file needs to be opened up by a special program.) To endow us with a treasure that brings peace and comfort to those who submit to His words. And that revelation comes through PROPHETS who explain the word from the perspective of a lived experience...and an actual connection to God.

If you downloaded the brain of a prophet, what you would see would beggar the mind so as to cause people to be both amazed and speechless.

"This honour have all his saints."

Yes I agree that the deeper spiritual meanings of scripture are hidden till the recipient is 'in the same spirit' as the writers.

But do you think that the apostles were wrong about some things which are revealed later?

No, the apostles are confirmed by the Spirit that allows the saint to enter into the kingdom realm. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. I know the bible to be true because as I was reading it I was transported into Zion to walk in the light as He is in the light.

So I have faith, not just beliefs. My authority comes from heaven...but the word FULLY and completely backs up what I teach. Because I was taught directly by the Holy Spirit. That's something no one here will understand. And I don't expect them to understand. I don't care what people think. I care what God thinks.

Having said that, I rely on my bible more than anyone....because I know it's source and have been permitted to understand mysteries that few will know. Why me? I haven't a clue!!!!! But to deny my election to this would be like denying the friend I have in the Lord.

So excuse my words as I know I sound just like the arrogant ones here who have seen nothing and are dead.

Let the flesh rail against what I say. People need to fear God and learn humility...or they are lost.

Peace <><

Okay then, throughout church history, which saints were living in the kingdom and understood the deeper meaning of the word and walked without sin which is the distinguishing feature, we agree on?

This is where we differ. Peter asked Jesus what was going on with John....would he die like himself? Jesus rebuked Peter and said...what is that to you!!!! You follow Me.

So even if I was the only one ever to walk in the Spirit at that depth...to SEE the eternal holy city....Zion (which I know that God has many who have seen such...just not in our time) that's not my concern. I don't need provenance to know the value of something. You are more like an art collector who needs to know the provenance of a piece of art to ascertain it's value. I just look at it and buy it. You have to know your Rembrandts.

Yes we disagree as that is what the RCC believe, the one man papal ruling, (and to the same type, Protestants) who is granted more revelation and greater spiritual knowledge than others.

But the apostles did not follow one man, they worked as a team.

'Acts 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled WITH ONE ACCORD, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. 28 FOR IT SEEMED GOOD TO THE HOLY GHOST AND TO US, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.'

So this is how they functioned, men indwelt by the Holy Spirit, sinless and holy. This is due to the very real danger of one man without checks is in danger of deception, the sort we see in the NT with both Peter and Paul who were led astray, Peter over circumcision and Paul over going up to Jerusalem on his own accord.

It is a very real danger which scripture is warning us about.

All of these cases will believe that they have been given special gifting to know more than their peers.

Just buying art 'masterpieces' without study of their originality, is the sort of impulse that we are warned against.

It can be dangerous unless you know something by long experience and by the exercising of FAITH. So yes, for a novice, your concerns are valid. But God can give us victory by few as by many. Remember Jonathan who went through the camp of the Philistines, slaying as he went...How did he do it? He checked with God. Did he consult other learned men? NO. Just like David he was UNIQUE in his faith and did exploits based on trusting the Lord.

So then it is surely better to have multiple brothers who are hearing from the Lord. But barring that in a time of great apostasy as we have today...the Lord is sufficient.

Got some questions for you to ponder.
How many people do you think were saved before people were allowed to own a Bible?
How many cult leaders call themselves prophets?
Why do they call themselves prophets?
Because they want to tell you what the Word of God means and have demonic revelations for you.
Beware!!! Beware!!!

Both Peter and Paul had holy ones to consult, but they did not, they thought that their faith was enough but they were wrong. This is a very real temptation from Satan.

We never have a time when we cannot open books from the past, and read about holy men and search for their wisdom as a check over something and especially when we think we have a 'special' role.

It is not enough to think we have heard God without some checking on the revelation of holy ones in NT times.

Just because scripture does not say others were not consulted by David and Jonathan does not mean it did not happen. Anyway that was before Christ came.

If your eye is dark all is darkness.

I just wonder what weird demonic cult Paul was describing when he related the kind of meetings they were having at that time...

Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 1 Cor. 14

Revelation? Unheard of in this time of the great apostasy. People have their bibles that they can misinterpret for themselves...who needs prophets?:shockedx

Isaac Pennington:

“Objection: But are not the Scriptures the word of God? And is
not the word of God to be a Christian’s rule? If everyone should be left
to his own spirit, what confusion and uncertainty would this produce!

Answer: The Scriptures are not that living Word, which is
appointed by God to be the rule of a Christian; but they contain words
spoken by the Spirit of God, testifying of that Word, and pointing to
that Word which is to be the rule. “Search the Scriptures, for in them
you think to have eternal life, and these are they which testify of me;
and you will not come to me that you may have life.” John 5:39-40. The
Scriptures are to be searched for the testimony which they give of
Christ; and when that testimony is received, Christ is to be found, and
life received from him. But the Pharisees formerly, and Christians since
(I mean Christians in name) search the Scriptures, but do not come to
Christ for the life. Rather, they stick to the letter of the Scriptures,
and oppose the life with the letter. They keep themselves from the life
by their wisdom and knowledge in the letter. In this way they put the
Scriptures into the place of Christ, and so honor neither Christ nor the
Scriptures.”

So we have J & D from the OT whom you think, did not consult with others, and P & P who did not consult with others even though they could, but made big errors. Both at opposite sides yet you follow the OT examples and think you are better than P & P.
