Same thing with indoctrinated people. You can't learn anything because you only respond to animal like commands.

Like the story of the retired Baptist preacher that got a dog as a gift

He told the dog to heel and the dog laid paws on him... and he grumbled saying "Oh no, this dog is Pentecostal" funny.gif

No I believe in born again and the renewal of a person. The person that comes out of the water is for the moment sinless. God remember no past life for them, remember no sin.
That's sad....you only see the physical aspect of the commemoration and not the power of the Spirit. So sad. The system sure does mess up people's minds. They don't enter the kingdom and they stop others from entering.

This saddens me very much.

Water baptism is NOT regeneration by the Spirit. It gets you from Egypt into the wilderness. It is the second water crossing...that of the Jordan that gets you into the Promised Land...which is representative of the kingdom of God...to walk as He walked in His resurrection life and power.

I hope you will reconsider your understanding as being very weak indeed.

But the catholics think their priest does a little hocus pocus thing over the bread and the juice and literally turn it in to the actual flesh of Jesus and the actual Blood of Jesus so they apparently think they are cannibals and vampires

I've challenged numerous catholics to send samples in for DNA testing after their priest does his hocus pocus thing but so far none has expressed interest in doing so... because they know it's still just juice and crackers

The Catholics call it Transubstantiation and the Protestants call it consubstantiation. So you think the hocus pocus of Yeshua's blood saving us is false to?

Please post the scripture that says "this concept is seriously sacrilegious to the Jews"

You know, what chapter and verse can we find this precise exact statement?
The Spirit is given to us to understand the depth of meaning of what we read in the bible....and also to cause us to experience an eternal kind of life in is peace. It's sad when people miss the whole purpose of the gospel. Most have a relationship with a book and not it's Creator.

Mosaic Law----Leviticus 17:11–14 — “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls… You shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood… Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”

And the false teaching alarm goes off!
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Romans 6:1-7

This is so easy!!! I told you, you could not even pack my lunch.
You need to start all over and read the scriptures and believe them this time....or write your own Bible like the Jehovah's Witnesses did.

But the blood of Christ is a LIVING blood...an eternal kind of life. Not an animal life. It is SPIRITUAL in nature. Thanksgiving is to commemorate what Jesus fulfilled both at Passover and His death and resurrection.

I do believe that the communion is a special event....but it's based on the people being One Body with Christ. It's a mystery not a ritual. I sense God's presence more in communion based on a consecration of our vows and sacrifice to the Lord. I could go deeper but you would be unable to hear it.

Call it what you will and find the scripture that says "drinking His blood is partaking of His life" And if that was what it was all about, I do not think it would have upset His Apostles and disciples so much. You do not understand that this concept is seriously sacrilegious to the Jews, that is why His disciple left Him. And He knew that and would not have said it unless it was vitally important to their salvation.

You do know that drinking His blood is metaphorical, right?

Grace is the POWER to walk as Jesus walked. Grace gets us translated into the kingdom to walk IN Him. IN Him is no sin.

Being under grace means we are no longer walking in our own power, where sin can drag us down. Even the smallest amount of grace overcomes sin. MY grace is sufficient for you. What does that mean? It means it is sufficient to obey the commandment to BE HOLY, for I am holy. Jesus has not left us orphaned, but provided a new and living way in Him....to walk with Him and to partake of His life, and peace,

Any doctrine that goes against this is false. It's another gospel...,meant to justify the flesh.

I hope you will open your heart to the truth.

It is a mystery to you, Not Yeshua, the Apostles, the disciples, or me.

Not on it's own... we are to cooperate with the Lord and submit to His leading

Some in reformed circles claim we do nothing and God does everything

Meaning... if a person is still living in sin, it's God's fault not theirs.

in Christ there is no sin.

Sure...you don't seem to treat that with any reverence.

I recently posted a similar observation about many in Christendom; the forgiveness of sins is taken as a given and ritualistically so - not treated with profound gratitude or reverence, as you say. Very sad.

I mean when we are UNDER GRACE meaning we are cleaved to Him as a magnet is stuck to a fridge....it is Him that keeps us there...no effort.

It is by grace not works at that level. It is in holiness.

What you are speaking of is what we do when we are NOT under grace. Then it is...draw near to Me and I will draw near to you.

So whether we are present or absent from the Lord, we do all to be ACCEPTED of Him. It's the faith that pleases Him.
