Perhaps you might quote the part where I accused you?

Much love!
I don't think you accused me. However, your accusations against Epi and been continuous. I mean the guy can't even post a thread without you, Liz and Charlie Brown's teacher accusing him of heresy.

*edit* let's not forget amigo's cheerleader with the bible slogan plagues

Your statement above goes way beyond what scripture actually states. The author was using Levi "in a certain" sense as an allegory.
Personally I think you are overlooking a certain truth in Scripture having labeled it "allegory". It's a great example. So then who is the worse for believing either way, and who is the worse for denigrating the other because they disagree?

What makes you so certain it doesn't mean exactly what it says?

Much love!

Read the entire chapter of Heb 7 and ask yourself this question....did Jesus also pay tithes in Abraham?

I'd like to suggest to you that Adam was more than representing humanity, that when God created Adam, He created all who would ever live in Adam. That God created Humanity as a single thing.

We tend to think of humanity as being a collection of individuals who self-replicate, producing more individuals.

The Bible tells us, for instance, that Levi paid tithes to Melchesidek "being in the loins of Abraham". Not that Levi would be someone born in some future time, but that Levi was already in Abraham, and humanity is not a collection of individuals, but a single thing, unfolding over the centuries.

1 Corinthians 15:22 KJV
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Also allegory? Or reality?

Much love!

Before you can answer that, you have to answer, . . . Was Jesus "in Adam"?

to some here sister ..........
to some here , they see us as the weeds , as the crows , as the t ares .
the inclusive god is leading them by many diverse and differing ways to the same conclusion .
That conclusion is UNBELEIF IN JESUS IS OKAY and that anyone who reminds of the absolute dire necessity
for to beleive on HIM , IS ONLY IN THE WAY of their peace . And in their hearts the darkness will only grow sister
until it leads them to the only possible solution for to attain peace n safety on earth .
ANY GUESSES , my near and dear sister , on what that solution WILL BE .
TO RID THE EARTH OF ALL who conformed not to the image of their all inclusive god .
Might seem hard to beleive , but sister , BELIEVE IT . tribulations and persecutions are not at all new
to the saints . And often there have been times of greater persecutions .
THIS PERSEcUTION will be greater than has any tribulation ever been at any hour during all ages
since the birth of the true church . THEY GONNA BLEIEVE sister and when i say
BELIEVE i mean Beleive they do GODS WILL when saints are rounded up and even killed .
But woe unto them . FOR though it is true that many saints will be killed
and while it is true these inclusivians who bowed the knee to the all inclusiv e god
WILL seem to have it easy in this life , WAIT TILL JESUS DAY when the TABLE GETS FLIPPED OVER
and its they who scatter for the hills . NOW seeing i dont desire their destruction
THAT IS WHY I AM reminding all , OF THE ABSOLUTE DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE ON JESUS and then teach all things HE DID teach .

The scripture does not say that "God created humanity as a single thing". It's you, going beyond the scriptures, and saying He did. ( a nice big spoonful of your own medicine)

Nor does Scripture say "Jesus is God". Can we move past this level?

It can't be seen as slander unless it's directed at Mark. At this point Lizbeth will probably get a personal download from somewhere that contradicts this and somehow justifies whatever she comes up with next.
So now I know you believe the Holy Spirit is ruling the Catholic church. That tells me all I need to know about you really.

And be careful you don't blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

By the way, does this mean you have never experienced receiving revelation from God?

The Holy Spirit is not limited to a dogmatic theory conjured up by a denominational bias. We can tell when someone THINKS they have an exclusive access to God...and they don't. A lack of mercy and openness to others knowing as much or more than we do tells us that the person doesn't know God at all. God's mercy and reach goes far beyond pew warmers and bible thumpers.

The fact that you don't realize that is astonishing.

No one corners the market on religious extremism. Although some here make a great case.

The religious ego NEEDS to go to extremes to cover up their guilt and the darkness in their souls. The call to love and be merciful works with the pure-hearted. But we know that these are few. Most just rail against one form of extremism or another with an extremism of their own.

To a person whose eye is full of light ALL is light. A true follower of Christ allows for God to teach him by any means or anyone He chooses. No prejudice. Not partisan.

When Gideon saw the Lord and asked Him what side He was on. The Lord answered "none" The Lord's side.

Bible readers can THINK they know God's ways even as no two people can agree on the same errors.

No. I asked a question and I quoted a passage. Are you able to answer the question I've asked?

Much love!
I asked my question first and you dodged it. Did Jesus pay tithes to Melchizedek in Abraham? Now...answer, yes or no. No dodging, no answering asking another question, just a plain ole yes or no
