countries banning Muslim head coverings

I've seen in net/web news items quite a few countries are moving to ban Muslim female head coverings (hijabs/burqas/niqabs). What do you think about this? For me I think it is wrong that they ban Muslim head coverings but don't also ban bikinis / immodest clothing / promiscuity and surveillance cameras everywhere. The bible says women should dress modestly and wear a head covering (or long hair) in church. Are they going to also ban Christian and Jewish and other cultures' head coverings/shawls as "oppression" and "sign of religion" or not conforming to the country's culture too?

Every country that wants to protect women should ban the face covering.

Covering your head(women) is good, but never should be made into penalty of law.
