The base is in the countryside. Thankfully a farmer was coming home late and saw the men acting suspiciously. She called the base but no answer so she called police.

Meanwhile patriot Danny Tommo was promptly arrested and is held in jail, denied bail. His court case comes up in March. His crime was slashing a rubber dinghy after it had transported illegal migrants across the English Channel. And I think he didn't give police his PIN to his phone.
