Not relevant to the claim you make that the Mediterranean Sea could not have existed when the Bible was written AND know that Pangaea could not have existed when the Bible was written.

The logic you're denying is just because the Mediterranean Sea at the time of Moses (whether he existed or not) doesn't mean it existed before the Flood of Noah's day.

Biblical scholars and historians do agree that the Bible includes events that happened before writing existed, when there was a strong oral tradition. And when we talk about when the 66 books of the Bible were written, we're talking a span of nearly 2 millennia of time.

We know that there was a supercontinent, we know that the rivers mentioned exist today but didn't back then... The rivers flow into the Persian gulf that didn't exist back then.

and another man chose to believe something else .

Remember what we love is what we will beleive . whether it is a lie or it is the TRUTH .
I didnt understand that for years . THANK GOD FOR THE MERCY OF HIS GRACE
given me in CHRIST JESUS .
And no sir i aint no better than any of you . I was in deed one of the worst men and hyprocrites
this world has ever seen . THE TRUTH . the only goodness i even have in me
TRULY DOES COME OF GOD , OF HIS SPIRIT . But you my friend are truly in dire danger .

BELEIVE ON JESUS the CHRIST and get in the bible , YOU SEE f or yourself , learn for yourself .
And dont let these men and churches TWIST ANYTHING TO YOU .

oh i had to do a redo on that post .
I just remembered . Back in the day when i was lost in my sin and yet claimed to believe on JESUS
i had said EPI would have been my number one man . NOT exactly cause even then i might have said enough truth
to say YOU have to BELIEVE ON JESUS . perhaps wrangler would have been .

All I am saying is that in the Bible's account of creation, modern day rivers are mentioned. This would lead one to believe that the authors knew nothing of Pangaea and how the continents separated.

We know that the Mediterranean that is also mentioned in the Bible formed firstly as a dry basin....
It only became a sea when the link between modern day Spain and North Africa ruptured.
The authors were documenting modern day geographical features, and not features of a newly created earth.

I think that you are all equally misguided.
I know that you all think the same of me, so I guess we're on a level playing field.

The salt from the flood waters...which wasn't as high as oceans of today...would have easily been leached out of the soil by rain water

Interesting. I checked about 5 different commentaries on the verse and 4 out of the 5 agreed that the division was a political/ethnic one and not a physical division of the land. I have always though it was referring to a cataclysmic physical division of the land.
