What are your thoughts on the idea the earth isn't a globe, but instead more of a flat plane?

IMO- Earth;

Perfect Round Globe? No.
Moreso a sphere? Yes.
Flat? No
Visible Peaks, Valleys, Levels? Yes.

When a 'Christian' claims the Bible teaches a flat earth they damage the reputation of the Bible which is exactly what UNbelievers want and enjoy.

Support that with scripture.

Considering Jesus is God....those scripture would include the entire God inspired bible.

As an example Psalms 103:12 tells us...As far as the east is from the west, so has He put our transgressions far from us.

Only on a globe does the east not meet the west. You can always go east..or west. That's how far our transgressions are removed.
On our planet if you travel north....there is a point where you are no longer going north but now heading south as you cross over the pole. None of this matches the description of a flat earth.

I think sphere merely as an over all shape of The Earth.

I believe Earth is “dry land” and “ground” can have a covering (of sorts) over the “Earth”…
(Such as… clouds, snow, ice, concrete, rain fall, seas, oceans, streams, rivers, etc.)

I believe God controls the “weather”… rain, thunder, lightening, earthquakes, winds, etc.

While “scientists” Make their best guess “bench-Mark”, and conduct experiments and “calibrated tests based on their bench-marks”, what they determine, could, would likely happen… in any scenario being studied…
I Trust God is in control; Holding / Loosening “weather Effects” according to His Will, according to His Power, For His Pleasure, For His own Reasoning.

I have no guesses in as to how fast the Earth spins.
But do believe under the Earth, Ground…Seas & Oceans; are Peaks, Valleys of Ground, ridged crests (perhaps rock like) Streams and Fire, Heat, Smoke, Putrid Smells, verbal wailing, Darkness and Alive “unsaved”Departed souls.
